I just know that as someone like myself who knows and enjoy reading The Holy Bible, I knew exactly what she meant instantly, when she mentioned her favorite word being "The Word". :) I love my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ, so I felt joyful to hear the words she spoke in this clip. I enjoy hearing those words from anyone period. Very refreshing, as "The Word" puts it in Galatians, ......against such there is no law.

@nocturnezero They may not have had abortion during Old Testament times, but certainly there is a value placed on human life and for this reason does God tell us to "choose life". Since God does see the end from the beginning, it could be that He intended this passage not merely for purposes of valueing life already born but that which is unborn as well. There are whole chapers dedicated to the subject and defending its purpose, This is a misunderstanding of the word, it does forbid in one passage murder "cold blooded killing". Killing an unboarn child is cold blodded killing. Period! In the bible killing of children was done by Pegan or corruipt men with hardend hearts trying to prevent a Savior ie Moses, and Jesus. So I ask if you abort a child is your heart hardened or corruipt?

If you can find a passage that expresses the sentiment that the unborn are equally valuable as the already living, or that epxresses the sentiment that life begins at conception, your position would have some support.

@nocturnezero The bible tells us that Mary "was with Child" before Jesus exited the womb. So it is my understanding that the word "child" is associated with both the born and unborn. Does that define life? No, so your argument will go mainly unargued In Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;" (NIV Bible). Its hard for me to understand that at months after a "Featus" begins to form that its not truly "alive" till it exits the mother.

Oh, it's truly alive in the womb, just in the same way an animal is - it doesn't have any original thought because it has no input from its surroundings and doesn't place any value on the concepts of life or death.

@samuport "Before you were born" is indicative of at least 9.5 months after conception. So it DOES support the argument that life not only begins at conception but throughout the pregnancy. Your first example of 'Mary was with child" is an excellent example of the fact that there is no difference between a child who is born and unborn. Were there a distinction between them, it would have been made. There is video showing the fetus trying to push the abortionist's sceptors away...heart breaking.
