  • They forgot to mention that the company had a severe weather plan that included a weather radio and trained storm spotters. The company actually issued their own warning BEFORE the weather radio alerted with the official one.

  • They got some statistic wrong. Combined F4 and F5 tornadoes account for about 70% of tornado deaths. F5 tornadoes account for a significant portion of that.

  • Too bad the Parsons plant is in Roanoke, IL DUH!

  • The husband of one of the women I work with was in that plant when it was hit.

  • I was a welder for Parsons around 1987. They were good to work for.

  • my girlfriend's house is visible from parsons. the tornado circled her house and took their barn

  • i went by parsons about 5 minutes after the otrnado hit, they ahd a mile radious blocked off, but when iw as drving on the back road about 1 1/2 away from teh parsons plant, i saw a semi and trailor throw aout 200 yards into a cornfield
