Fuzzy out of focus around the head, when he points the camcorder at the tree(?) can you see leaves, I see a mass of green. Not in the last half, the first half when he in the frame. The last half, the scenery is hard to watch, to much skipping and out of of focus

@palladini971 The video quality is better when viewing with a viewing software that supports 60fps. Youtube doesn't offer 60fps yet, so it is in 30fps which makes it seem slightly bad quality. but the video quality while watching on iTunes or Windows media player or something that supports 60fps, or even just on the camera screen is awesome quality. but i agree, the quality viewing on youtube sucks.

Youtube doesn't support 60fps video files yet, so when people upload Flip MinoHD videos, Youtube automatically makes the video into 30fps instead of 60fps. Second, it's 'liar' not 'lier' It's 'quality of THE audio sucks.' And it's 'piece' not 'peace.' Don't insult the guy in the video, or the camera itself. I have the Flip Mino HD. I think it's a great camera! I got it at Avon, when they were running the sale on them around Christmas Time. the problem I'm having is w/ FlipShare. It states my computer isn't compatible but I can upload my videos from the camera there etc. It takes a long time to upload videos from it to Youtube. You were speaking of other softwares that can run this camera's vids, what are some I have a PC.

The Flip Camera is good but the software that comes with the camera is rubbish. It made my Windows XP crash. Also to edit Flip Video (MP4) on Windows Movie Maker you'll need to convert. To upload directly to You Tube from the camera via e/drive could take hours if the clip is not converted to a smaller size.

@MrBillTroop73 I don't work with Flip or have any association with Flip, but I don't agree with that. It seems to me the problem your saying is with the Flipshare software, not the video camera. I myself could never get the software to work so I understand being upset by that.

However, there's plenty of video editing programs out there to choose from. Do you run a Mac or a PC?

The camera is great, but most people seem to disregard that a video is unwatchable unless well stabilized. Therefore I plan to make a DIY mechanical stabilizer, no matter how ugly it be, my final goal is to have steady videos without using a tripod or monopod. The trick is to firmly attach a heavy material to the camera, and then use a shock absorbing material to connect it to the frame I would hold in my hands.

Sounds like it's how you export the video in your editing program. Needs to be 1280x720 and in .mp4 format, preferably 30 frames per second and a high bitrate.

The Flip Mino HD is definitely worth the extra money. As you noticed in the video (and if you clicked HD), the quality is really good for a camera this price. With the regular Flip Mino, you'll just get basic and standard quality.

Hmmm, I'm not sure. I would think it would be as good as the 60 minute Mino HD. As far as good as the Ultra HD, the only real complaint I've heard here and there is that the files are a little bit larger.

Then again, something you'd wanna search around on Google as I'm not 100%. Hope that helps :-)

i have the flip ultra HD and its great my only complaints are that the lens is not wide(but you can glue like a fisheye on) and that there is no stabalizer

I'm actually using video editing software that is primarily used for screen captures, basically it records your screen, called Camtasia, version 6. I use it here and there and have found it works really well for editing regular videos too.

It doesn't have any overly advanced features or anything like that, but it gets the job done. It is pricey however and there's plenty of alternatives in the market. Just do a simple Google search and I'm sure some great contenders will pop up :-)

That's a great question and something I wondered as well. Unfortunately, you have to make different clips and then edit them together. It's a minor pain but not as hard as you'd think.

Me, I try and do everything in one shot although I understand that a lot of people have a hard time doing that.
