  • Yes.

  • Sounds like a beginning of a cool TV Show - I love it :)

  • I'd forgotten how good they were - and still are!

  • thanks for posting the Level 42. Chinese Way.....

  • @stevep30716

    absolutely: yes

  • Saw them in the '80s- still can't figure how Mark can both sing, and play bass like that at the same time!

  • This is one of the hottest performances of Chinese Way I have seen. Thanks so much for posting. Watching this makes me want to go practice my bass for the next two hours! Ouch!

  • Quelqu'un sait quand ils donnent un concert à Paris ? pour mouiller sa chemise et éteindre le feu avec ce sublime son intense

  • @stevep30716

Agree completely. One of the bands that could play your socks off and still sound great!

  • @stevep30716

I could never understand why the music press slagged off Level 42 - for example, saying that Mark King claimed to have invented slap bass

    Legends

  • Ok.. I mean all of it...fabulous track.....my all time favourite band ever,,,

  • 3.47-3.59...totally amazing bassplaying....truly amazing....

  • At 3:35, Nathan is looking at Mark with a crooked smile because he knew that Mark just played the wrong notes. Mark is smiling back at him as if he is saying,"Yep little brother, I messed up."

  • @Mowac no - that's just their "jamming" faces ;)

  • what a great peformance! They are different that other bands, because

they starting to sound better and better by the years, something you can't say from most other bands. Anyway, i hope that they wil keep on going for a long time,

and hope that they come to holland real soon.

  • "My fly's wide open"..........typical Mark King humor...hillarious.

  • my flies wide open i feel a breeeze !!!!

  • These guys just kill live ,what great arrangement of this classic tune.Mark and the boys Canada is calling.

  • if you're an amateur bass player and junkie as I am, this is addictive... I wish I could play half as fast as Mark does... bravo maestro!

  • If you're motivated enough........you can do it. I couldn't play like this three years ago because that's when I first took up bass.. I've about mastered this song now. You can do it ..if you really want to. You have to keep practicing by starting out slow and slowly work up your speed. That's the only way.

  • absolutely fantastic class act the best of Level 42 !!!!

  • what a cracker! Perfect - who can still play this way live today?

  • Amazing stuff. My all-time favourite band ever.

  • I think, it too fast version
