I agree - just an observation. I feel like we're in some sort of bizarro world these days.
The Government helps their buddies rip us off until we're losing our jobs/homes/investments/whatever, then they tell us how evil their buddies are and take our money and throw it at those same evil entities.
And they expect us to enjoy it. Then they create monstrous tax and control bills and gleefully cheer as those bills are bribed and arm-twisted through Congress.

Considering Murdoch owns NYT, my guess if NYT needed bailing out this would be a different story!
