You know as much as I want Heart to be recognized with rock and they deserved to be placed in the rock n roll hall of fame a long time ago...that Foundation can fuck right off. They only add bands that have racked up a certain sales amount..not how the quality of the music is..hell Guns N roses are seriously overrated and annoying they don't deserve to be in there period.
One of my favorite songs...it's ridiculous that Heart isn't in the Hall of Fame. Here's the address if anyone else wants to add their voice to this cry for justice.
I remember seeing Heart at the Miller Creek Rodeo Grounds outside Missoula MT. I think it was 1977. It was at the University of Montana Aber Day "Kegger", which were held to raise money for the school's library. My friend Mike McGee and I sneaked in to the show; we were only 14, so we couldn't legally attend. I still listen to this album (Dreamboat Annie) at least once a week in its entirety.
My mother (RIP) bought me a copy of this album as a gift when I was a kid in the 70's. I still have that vinyl today, and yes the CD too. I loved to rock out to Magic Man, but she thought this was her favoutite track. I can see why she liked it to so much and listening to it now makes me miss her a lot. Good work ladies and gentlemen.
Love it! I just bought Heart's greatest hits songbook and I am having fun. The feminine energy is there and the music comes alive with it with Ann and Nancy.
Brings back some good memories....I use to listen to all the early Heart albums over & over & over....I know them by heart... :) <3 The songs speak to my heart & soul... <3 <3 <3

Ahhh the rest of the pretty song... and all you other Seattle Musicians....it is time for Minneapolis to ROCK Again!!!!!
Never get tired of the Wilson sisters they FN ROCK!!! This song is excellent! One of their best early works. Ann's voice just keeps getting better with age. ROCK CHIX RULE!!!
They lived in are neighborhood, practicing, parties that only those in the early 70's-"the Hill/Mont----/Inter----", we were/are fortunate to be an intimate part of such a beautiful time, place and friends. Most important, they have lived the Dream so beautifully and blessed US ALL with their hearts!!!! Merry Christmas and thanks for sharing a fabulous ride!
Love this!! I saw them tonight in Topeka and they didn't even sing this OR DREAMBOAT ANNIE!!! Can you even imagine? I was PISSED....otherwise, they f-ing ROCKED though!!!!
I jacke off to Ann's pictures in the Dreamboat Annie album back then. How deep it goes and Dog and Butterfly were Ann's best vocals and Dog an Buterfly, her best composition.
What true artists. Look at 4:55 and see what compassion Ann puts into her music at such a young age. Such professionals in the 70's era. Btw, this was from the Dreamboat Annie album
Masterfully written and performed music such as this CAN not and WILL not ever be duplicated. The same can be said for the overkill beauty and amazing voice of Ann Wilson. As highly regarded as Heart is, they are still underrated. Music of the mid/late 70's is superior to everything else and always will be.
I havent heard this song in probably over 20 years i love this song.when i was in my early 20's, i had a huge grush on Ann Wilson and she is still one of my favorite singers and one of the most beautiful women i've ever seen i've veen a huge fan my whole life and always will be

Was my favorite band FOREVER, saw them a few times when I worked at the Hard Rock Hotel mid 90's at The Joint, last time as the Lovemongers, only bout 200 people in the whole place, it was so COOL! Thanks for the memories girls! Rock On!
My favourite all time rock album - DREAMBOAT ANNIE. I've always loved this one. Thanks for this video. Can't wait to see you in Mattaw, Ontario on July 22/10!! You are such a big part of who I am . I love your Art.
@babyj1996 That's for sure....always thought that she was the better looking of the two, with the voice to match. Wonder why she ballooned the way she did?
@dacordova she comes from a family who was heavy, her grandparents. ann was 10lbs when she was born, and then after she stopped using coke in the 90's she gained weight
The Dreamboat Annie Album is filled with the most beautiful song from start to finish, but Soul Of The Sea I have always found the most beautiful. Thankyou Ann & Nancy for giving me such amazing music to live my life by for the last 35yrs.
This sounds so dated but in a good way. It kind of brings you back to the mid 70's. Is it just me or does Nancy look like a dude and did Ann sing with more passion and pitch control and range back then? She used to act out the lyrics better as well I think.
Just saw the "dreamboat annie" thing where they redid all these songs and watching the led me to find this song. I forgot all about it back in the day cause everyone was busy with the three singles. Personally, I think this is the bes tune on this album. Reminds me when I was about 12 or 13 living in Kent WA.
there is a soulfulness to this song that i love. please play this when u come to idaho. i was there when u played nampa, idaho & truly enjoyed it. u r truly the female version of led zep. hope i will b able to afford to go. love u guys!
The Wilson Sisters were elemental, the soul of music. I was in highschool when I first heard them. They remain the most creative rock band. Their energy heals.

This was one of the greatest live shows of all time. Just this should have put Heart in the joke that has becoming the Rock Hall of Fame.
If I was Heart and one day the drunks that run the place vote them in, Ann should give them a middle finger wave and say, "We'll pass."
And watching Ann sing this song it better than sex. Just smokin.

So I love this song and Dreamboat Annie.
