  • sex pistols said it best about the Museum..."its a piss stain"

  • You know as much as I want Heart to be recognized with rock and they deserved to be placed in the rock n roll hall of fame a long time ago...that Foundation can fuck right off. They only add bands that have racked up a certain sales amount..not how the quality of the music is..hell Guns N roses are seriously overrated and annoying they don't deserve to be in there period.

  • One of my favorite songs...it's ridiculous that Heart isn't in the Hall of Fame. Here's the address if anyone else wants to add their voice to this cry for justice.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation

    1290 Avenue of the Americas

    New York, NY 10104

  • What a jem! Thanx for posting

  • One of their best songs...great to see them do it in their prime...thanks for posting.

  • This was one of the greatest live shows of all time. Just this should have put Heart in the joke that has becoming the Rock Hall of Fame.

If I was Heart and one day the drunks that run the place vote them in, Ann should give them a middle finger wave and say, "We'll pass."

And watching Ann sing this song it better than sex. Just smokin.

  • I've still got the picture disc album of Dreamboat Annie that I bought in 1978 as a 16 year old English boy. Loved it then, love it now.

  • Muchas gracias por tu comentario en mi video. Espero que le guste mis otros trabajos.Saludos desde Brasil! :)

  • Anyone know if she performs "How Deep it Goes" live on video?

  • I remember seeing Heart at the Miller Creek Rodeo Grounds outside Missoula MT. I think it was 1977. It was at the University of Montana Aber Day "Kegger", which were held to raise money for the school's library. My friend Mike McGee and I sneaked in to the show; we were only 14, so we couldn't legally attend. I still listen to this album (Dreamboat Annie) at least once a week in its entirety.

  • My mother (RIP) bought me a copy of this album as a gift when I was a kid in the 70's. I still have that vinyl today, and yes the CD too. I loved to rock out to Magic Man, but she thought this was her favoutite track. I can see why she liked it to so much and listening to it now makes me miss her a lot. Good work ladies and gentlemen.

  • Love it! I just bought Heart's greatest hits songbook and I am having fun. The feminine energy is there and the music comes alive with it with Ann and Nancy.

  • Good Lord, they are good! WOW!!

  • My second all time fave heart song .. (fave is how deep it goes) . thank you for posting

  • Wow!

  • Brings back some good memories....I use to listen to all the early Heart albums over & over & over....I know them by heart... :) <3 The songs speak to my heart & soul... <3 <3 <3

  • I found Ann Wilson still SEXY..YES AS IN HOT! with her high notes in video, Girls & Guitars 2000 w/. Sheryl Crow & Melissa Etheridge.

  • Ann had the sexiest face and the voice to match...What a Goddess.

  • I hope you and everyone who takes the Net, etc, for granted, realizes Public Radio and TV are under serious threat with the budget cuts looming, no Federal support for these media outlets could mean they go away ... FOREVER!! Let you not be asleep at the wheel, people, SUPPORT the FREE AIRWAVES (which cost to support but don't kowtow to advertising

  • Three Bong Hits and the headphones and i'm good with this song... :)

  • Nothing like perfection

  • What a magic voice and a great band! Thanks for sharing this. I always wanted to grow up and marry the Wilson sisters :-)

  • I didnt know Ann can sing this good, ive only seen them performing on Alone, These dreams and Never music videos.

  • these two wilson sisters are a gift from above.

A very much appreciatted gift from above.

thank you and keep it up with the lovemongers!

  • OK even here Ann is still hot!... but you know... guess what.. you folks in Seattle, Heart, Pearl Jam, I'm listening to the sloppy middle section... it is confusing me....

Ahhh the rest of the pretty song... and all you other Seattle Musicians....it is time for Minneapolis to ROCK Again!!!!!

  • @lungsounds MN, eh? By what do you refer? the lack of support from Midwest bands? Seems the best shows are other "local" bands coming to our town

  • Never get tired of the Wilson sisters they FN ROCK!!! This song is excellent! One of their best early works. Ann's voice just keeps getting better with age. ROCK CHIX RULE!!!

  • They lived in are neighborhood, practicing, parties that only those in the early 70's-"the Hill/Mont----/Inter----", we were/are fortunate to be an intimate part of such a beautiful time, place and friends. Most important, they have lived the Dream so beautifully and blessed US ALL with their hearts!!!! Merry Christmas and thanks for sharing a fabulous ride!

  • Love this!! I saw them tonight in Topeka and they didn't even sing this OR DREAMBOAT ANNIE!!! Can you even imagine? I was PISSED....otherwise, they f-ing ROCKED though!!!!

  • @STEVEMOR909 ANN STILL LOOKS GOOD!!

  • I jacke off to Ann's pictures in the Dreamboat Annie album back then. How deep it goes and Dog and Butterfly were Ann's best vocals and Dog an Buterfly, her best composition.

  • Somebody please delete SteveMor(on) for his rude comments about Miss Ann!

  • This is a great song to play LOUD in the car.

  • What true artists. Look at 4:55 and see what compassion Ann puts into her music at such a young age. Such professionals in the 70's era. Btw, this was from the Dreamboat Annie album

  • What true artists. Look at 4:55 and see what compassion Ann puts into her music at such a young age. Such professionals in the 70's era.

  • Videos direct from the band! AWESOME! I saw you in 1980 in Portland, OR. My first concert.

  • Masterfully written and performed music such as this CAN not and WILL not ever be duplicated. The same can be said for the overkill beauty and amazing voice of Ann Wilson. As highly regarded as Heart is, they are still underrated. Music of the mid/late 70's is superior to everything else and always will be.

  • Classic! Songs like this used to put me in a dreamy sort of mood growing up.

  • I havent heard this song in probably over 20 years i love this song.when i was in my early 20's, i had a huge grush on Ann Wilson and she is still one of my favorite singers and one of the most beautiful women i've ever seen i've veen a huge fan my whole life and always will be

  • has a Houses of Holy Zepplin feel to it.

  • 76 prooved to be a very mighty year in rock music . Bbop delux Johnny Winter Roy Buchannon Robin Trower Thin Lizzy Heart Boston Ramones Stranglers Kansas and the list goes on . ps Zeppelin . think about it ...

  • Everyone needs to write the Hall of Fame Foundation and ask why Heart has not been inducted into the fame as of yet. For questions about the induction process, write to the following postal address (the Foundation does not have an e-mail address):

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation

    1290 Avenue of the Americas

    New York, NY 10104

  • I've always loved this song. I get goosebumps every time!!

  • dreamboat annie

  • I still have my very FIRST Heart Ticket Stub, Aladdin Hotel (now long gone) Las Vegas, NV $8 I think it was 1976-78, something like that, was 12-14 years old. Was my favorite band FOREVER, saw them a few times when I worked at the Hard Rock Hotel mid 90's at The Joint, last time as the Lovemongers, only bout 200 people in the whole place, it was so COOL! Thanks for the memories girls! Rock On!

  • A really beautiful song. Honest, just honest and lovely. Well done, like, I'm in awe right now...I so love Heart, keep it up. :)

  • This song reminds me of the style of The Phantom of the Opera. It is like she is singing "his" words and thoughts.

  • A truly beautiful song, Ann's voice is stunning - sounds as good today as it did when I first heard way back in 1977.

  • I love to sing with you.

  • I love to sing with you.

  • I love to sing with you.

  • My favourite all time rock album - DREAMBOAT ANNIE. I've always loved this one. Thanks for this video. Can't wait to see you in Mattaw, Ontario on July 22/10!! You are such a big part of who I am . I love your Art.

  • great band, killer music. thx for posting

  • AWESOME!!!

  • ANN IS A GODDESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @babyj1996 What a beauty.....what a voice. Awesome.

  • @babyj1996 That's for sure....always thought that she was the better looking of the two, with the voice to match. Wonder why she ballooned the way she did?

  • @dacordova she comes from a family who was heavy, her grandparents. ann was 10lbs when she was born, and then after she stopped using coke in the 90's she gained weight

  • The Dreamboat Annie Album is filled with the most beautiful song from start to finish, but Soul Of The Sea I have always found the most beautiful. Thankyou Ann & Nancy for giving me such amazing music to live my life by for the last 35yrs.

  • Not one of the more well-known Heart songs but man, I'm glad someone had the brains to put this gem on Utube...love it. THX!!!

  • That is one badass mellow side..

  • A magical song, to make love in your mind and for real by.

    Ooooh 1975-76, dorm life.

  • Not dated at all. Very pure and Heart at it's best!

  • This sounds so dated but in a good way. It kind of brings you back to the mid 70's. Is it just me or does Nancy look like a dude and did Ann sing with more passion and pitch control and range back then? She used to act out the lyrics better as well I think.

  • Just saw the "dreamboat annie" thing where they redid all these songs and watching the led me to find this song. I forgot all about it back in the day cause everyone was busy with the three singles. Personally, I think this is the bes tune on this album. Reminds me when I was about 12 or 13 living in Kent WA.

  • wow! that's a... how should i put it... ahh.. deep & emotional beyond my comprehension. nice video.

  • ANN AND NANCY

    FOREVER !

  • The Wilson Sisters were elemental, the soul of music. I was in highschool when I first heard them. They remain the most creative rock band. Their energy heals.

  • never thought I would ever see this!

the Album is absolutely awesome. Great song writers - I ove the way this song changes 3.40

  • They were born to sing..my god they sing straight from the HEART...Seen them twice live...(sighs)

Am 56 and still am nuts about them...

    greets from Amsterdam -)

  • So beautiful. The music & the women!

  • Are those white things speaker cabs or sound deflecters

  • I could listen to this tune over and over and it will just never get old.

What a treat to see/hear this rendition of it!

  • Damn, she could really hold those notes back then, excellent singer, outstanding band.

  • @Raypat1965 SHE STILL CAN!!

  • So nice! :)

The best female singer ever Ann Wilson

(The best male singer ever Ken Tamplin...)

  • Thank you for posting this gem.One of my favourite childhood memories is listening to this in my folk's summer home.(Yep, by the Sea)

  • Yes, I lived near a creek, so I am a water person who came from Southern VA.

I would have my window open next to the creek and hear the water men going out to the sea which was connected to the creek - Sara's creek.

So I love this song and Dreamboat Annie.

I am a water child even though I am 52.

  • what is the name of the album??

  • read the info about this video...

  • @keithbcook Dreamboat Annie

  • I feel blessed to grow up the the late 70's and would compare any music to that era to any for quality or originality. What great R&R and Blues. I am glad to be a Rocker! But I have my sensitive side too. ha ha

  • @keithbcook Dreamboat Annie

  • I really love Ann's performance here, she gets into so much! And the song really takes you on a journey to the soul of the sea. Its just a very interesting song composition too. And of course excelllent instrumental skills. This song has it all.

  • Damn... this song is rocking in every way.

  • words can't describe how much i love this song. i first heard it while watching the dreamboat annie live thing, and i instantly became addicted to it! the song, anyway...

  • This has always been my favorite from Dreamboat Annie. Really it's one of my favorite songs, period!

  • Feels like I'm back in the 70's!

    Right On!

  • Always one of my favorite songs from that album, it's a "haunting" melody that hasn't lost it's appeal to me.

  • LOVE IT!!!

  • Cool Mike!

  • Thank You for This Footage!!!!!!!!!!

Love The Wilson Sisters 4 ever!!!!!!

  • Absolutely AMAZING....

  • thanks for posting, Ann is so beautiful, she looks like Kiera Knightly.
