I don't like the idea of this engine being in the F-150, Granted I'm kind of old fashion in my belief that there is no replacement for displacement. I would like to see an engine line-up for the F-150's that goes kinda like.
3.5L V6 Ecoboost (Base Engine)
5.0L V8 Coyote (Mid-Grade Engine
6.2L V8 Boss (Top Grade Engine)
That would put ALL of Ford's engine's far ahead of the respectable competitors. For example Ford's 3.5L Ecoboost is capable of over 300hp. Dodge's 3.7L is only making 215hp.
Dodge's 4.7L H.O makes 310hp and Ford's 5.0L makes 411hp from what Ive heard. Though in truck form it would most likely be de-tuned slightly to make more torque instead of horsepower. The 411hp Figure come's from the engine in Mustang form. Still though 101hp more. That' would be a huge leap that would leave both Dodge and GM Scrambling to catch up. And the 6.2L making over 425hp comparing to Dodge 390hp Hemi and GM's 402hp 6.2L Still a good enough gap if you ask me.
I drive nothing but Nissans, actually I own three, and the only domestic company that I like is Ford, I feel very excited about this new family of engines, cant wait to test drive one on a Focus.

so then they should ecoboost a 5.0L v8 and put that in the mustang along with the 3.5L v6 that they are showing, the camaro wont be able to keep up.

insted of an ecoboost 5.0 they're designing a 4v 5.0 that suppose to put out 400 hp
