if it's a secondary, having the short version could be better for mobility.

there really is no point in having a stock, since there is no recoil, and it's a shotgun... just shoot from the hip.

oh and having a stock may get in the way of your badass one-handed reloads.

Thank you so much for doing this review! I was looking at this as a secondary, an now I am sure I will get it. I am going to probably get it off of Amazon, but they also have it at Evike (I live in the Central Bay Area, so its only like two days by UPS for me from them). I just recently built from parts, a complete M-16A2 with a flip up rear sight instead of a handle sight, and OD handguards and buttstock. Its truly a work of art, but a REAL pain in the ass, talk about sweat and tears! LOL.

Great gun, I've got two and a good few of my mates bought the long barrel full stock version, just cos it's such great value for money...

From experience, the one with the extending 'tactical stock' isn't worth a damn; the stock broke after a few days of real casual use, it rotates like crazy. Also, the stocked version has a bit of looseness between the grip and the rest of the gun... not sure if that's a universal problem, but it's hard as nails to fix.

right there with you. i bought a cheapo value pack of an aeg and springer pistol, and the rifle is designed wierd, and the pistol has probably gotten the most use. but it was $100! not morth it.

i'm dying to get into airsoft and this seems to be my best bet for a primary firearm in cqb. maybe my only arm that i would NEED in cqb! keep up the good work crazyNCman!

@quack447 One caveat! The Jaguar M4 is actually a very good gun. It doesn't have the durability, being plastic everywhere, but at 70$, it fires well and has decent range. It's certainly worth a look if you only want to spend 60$ for a loaner or something.

Crosman guns are by general standards, pretty ass, but some of their auto's are half decent but DEFINITELY don't buy their G36C replica, or their Mp5, both are cost equivalent to a JG or Cyma but downgraded internals.
