  • sould i buy this one or the cm 690 ii adveced?

  • Would I be able to fit a H100 in the top?

  • cooler master haf 912 is too small

922 is better at between 912 and 932

  • this or lancool k62

  • No. Install the PSU with the fan pointed down. In my country you can find dust filters for PSU and all other "holes".

  • IS IT BETTER TO MOUNT YOUR PSU UPSIDE DOWN??????????? !

  • jaja I didn't even notice the upside down PSU until you mentioned it.. :-) Great review...

  • is that an atx or micro atx card?

  • Wouldn't it be better if the 200mm side fan was used for air intake rather than exhaust?

  • @damon323 it can be used for either one

  • @damon323 well,you can add a 200mm on the side

  • Yes it's better if you have bigger graphics cards because the side fan just throws the cold air into the GPU card and it cools it down.

  • My case side panel arches outwards and is warped so it is difficult to slide on due to this problem? Also the screws on the back wont go in because of misaligned holes. Does anyone else have these problems?

  • Heh, at the bottom- That's why you buy a modular Corsair PSU for $20 extra, that is also 80+ Silver...

  • there are 2 versions on newegg, which one is the one in this video?

  • @craziii3 The two on newegg's website are the exact same case, but one comes with a power supply.

  • @HardwareCanucks thanks for the info.

  • Great review!

  • could any1 who have this case meashure the inside from the HDD place to the back and tell me what the length is?

  • this video is also uploaded to Coolermastervideos, I think its fake.

    Lets send the trolls :P

  • Even a 5970

  • I'd just like to add that you should not use side painel to exhaust. It will compromise air cooling with you are using stock coolers. Only use it with tower cooling. Also there is a lot of debate about cooling upside down. I think there is no problem as long as you are using a fan at the bottom that vents on larger video cards.

  • @rouninknight Well side is for intake, bottom also.

  • The lower you go the colder the air you get, cold air is more dense than hot air therefor it's always at the bottom.

  • thank you for this review

  • how big videocard can u have in this?

  • Really big. Even a 5970 fits right in.

  • @MonsterSound wow really?

    that's awesome!

i thought 5970's were too big for mid towers.

  • is this computer nosiy guys thinkiing of gettin one

  • I don't think it's as noisy as my OLD alienware. I'm not a computer engineer, but I know more than an average person. I'm running a (idk the names exactly right now) GA-EX58-UD4P motherboard with an I7 processor, some BA power source and fan for the processor, 1TB Samsung HD and a 120GB Solid State, an nVidia Video Card for 1080P and HD viewing that can support 2 screens, and some other stuff for less than 1700...ANYWAYS, the computer case has a lot of space; ONE THING, get 2.5 adapters!!!

  • Ok ummm how much has it cost you if you dont mind me askin?

  • In my last post, I said my whole set-up was less than 1700...It's supposed to last me all five of my years in college...And re-stating, it's not noisy at all!

  • it all depends on what fan will you use

  • I'm thinking this is the case to get, but theres one problem that keeps coming up, the noise. is it really that loud?

  • i got it and the fans are really silent i cant hear them over my CPU, Videocard, PSU fans

  • no its not :D

  • did he say 10 inches wide

  • 22.20"L x 10.00"W x 19.70"H

  • The upside down PSU, is it intented, or just a fault ? :P

  • ya, theres vents in the bottom so it gets fresh air from underneath....

  • i have the bigger brother and the inside is definitely roomy and with all of the included fans the airflow is amazing, definitely worth the moeny for an enthusiast

  • HWC is having another contest:) Join HWC forum to enter and join the F@H team(54196),

  • Just bought one. Researched forever before picking this beast up. 109$ on amazon with free shipping. can not beat that.

  • got one of these today its sweet

  • owner of this case and quite satisfied with it. don't expect it to be quiet when you add additional fans to it, but trust me, you can still sleep with it on at night.

  • Good review.

  • which better haf922 or 932??

  • You will be happy with either one, I chose the 922 myself because it is an inch wider, so I can comfortably fit my huge Mugen 2 CPU heatsink and still have space for a large side fan.

  • @adiyakuza Depends, they are almost the same in dimentions.. But i just bought the HAF 922 and I am very happy with it.

    I would say 922 :)

  • @adiyakuza 922 is smaller than 932 , 932 is bigger and has more space , but heavier than the brother...

  • @adiyakuza the haf922 looks better :D

  • HAF 932 is a full tower. 922 is a mid tower.

  • thanks buying this at frys with a mascool 7wa001 for 99.99 sweet~!

  • is this a mid or full tower case?

  • Mid

  • awesome reivew

  • i go the CM Sniper case its also great for a folding at home (F@H)rig,lots of room to fill up will good hardware to get some good PPD :) When my rig is idle I use it to F@H for team HardwareCanucksForum ( 54196) GO CANADA :) looking for a team.please join all welcome.

  • jea das gehäuse hab ich auch seit heute, es ist Genial leute kaufen kaufen kaufen. aber es ist lauuuut ^^

  • Sexy!

  • asus motherhboard ?

  • Yup - Asus Maximus Formula X38.

  • this looks alot better than the 932 and the storm scout i was going for,my main question would have to be if i can use the 200mm side fan with a zalman 9700 in the case..

    someones help would be appreciated

  • Unfortunately we do not have a Zalman 9700 to test with, however we did test clearance with a Thermalright Ultra 120 (thought it didn't make it into the final cut). There was about 5cm+- of of room, and the 200MM fans only eat up 3cm.

The Zalman 9700 at 12.4cm should have no problems!

  • at 3:22 you say "there are also six 5.25 in. opitical drive bays," I only count 5.

  • Oops :( - Your correct, thanks for the heads up. It appears there was some confusion during the voice over

  • looks like my next case, though I am hoping you guys will do a full review comparing it to its bigger brother.

  • dust filters ???

  • There are meshed filters in the front of the chassis, but none of the other fans have anything of the sort unfortunately. There is no easy to remove filter for the front fan either - Have to take the whole front panel off to clean it out.

  • meh so the antec 902 is the way to go i see some reviews and it got dust filters and good airflow dust is an issue to me sience i don't have time to clean my pc every two weeks 8(

  • Without filters you only need to clean it every 2-3 months or so (max)

I only clean my case out every 6 months or so and even then the dust buildup isn't all that great

  • Its a nice case for sure but i think the sniper has the edge on it in both looks and functionality.

  • No dust filters....

Makes the Storm Sniper seem better

    I dont know

  • Much sexier than the 932 if u ask me....

Now should i get the Sniper or the 922 lol

So much good case are coming out recently, makes it hard to pick ^^

  • Nice case. Thnx for the review.

"...while not being overly noisy or obnoxious".

I would think 200mm fans @ 700rpm would be pretty quiet?

  • The only thing that would make it better would be an included side panel 200mm fan.

  • yeah it would be good aditions, but i prefer using the side window panel version..

in CM sites it's says that HAF 922 also availaible in side window panel version

surely outperform and cheaper than antec 900!!!

  • Interesting - I hadn't been aware of that initially. Nice for them to provide both options. I personally prefer the side window myself. Now if only they had given it a black interior.

  • Looks pretty cool. I might get it.
