I love this song. Brings me back to my early attitude in life. "Carpe Deim" Seize the Day! So glad my cover band was excited about doing this song. See ya guys in Tahoe and R.I.P. Carter!!!
@PHOSCHEKER ...oh yeah,right...um i see you have a very accomplished Bass guitar player in the group...oh wait, its your kid Ed...yeah one of the ..um..ahh..best Bassist in rock..um yeah, right
until now, im lovin the album, I'm really lookin forward to buy it!!! And this band really reminds me of us (Rocket), not only the playing but also the behaviour. They are really enjoying what they are doing, And thats great because professional music might become boring. Of course we are not as good as chickenfoot by far... i couldnt say that, even after drinkin 12 shots of liqueur with tequila xD But we try to get the best of us and have fun together, and thats enough
@rishino I think it's not really about the lyrics, but the song itself. Its a good song but not a good single. When was listening to it and the chorus began i thought it was a prechorus, and i thought that after that it would have an amazing chorus, maybe something like oh yeah, or like this one, some of those "percusive" vocals would have been cool. I think the chorus is the weak thing in the song. And a single need a great chorus, even if the lyrics are not good, like in Oh Yeah.
That guitar riff is fucking HUUGE! All these songs sound great so far. I love the build up in the dissection of song history through these podcasts too. That's what a band should be about. Passion for music is what counts beyond anything else. You guys clearly have that and it's truly inspiring. Rock on! Looking forward to the album. \m/\m/
well this is seriously making history love these podcasts keep driving my patients to the limits but every podcast seems worth the wait. Rocking stuff of awesomeness

The bass in the first half-minute or so of this song is AWESOME. Listen to it with good headphones or in a car with great speakers.

It still amazes me how Joe can just crank out awesome riffs like nobody's business. With the help of Chad's drumming.
