  • 9/11/2001 the day America became one nation <3

Never forget those who gave it all to save people other than themselves.

They could have ran like most people would have. Instead, ordinary Americans became heroes and without concern for their own lives; decided to give their lives for someone else. To me that is the definition of a hero. Thank you. I also would like to thank those risking their lives everyday to save others. You are the ones that make America what is is.

  • How can someone dislike a tribute to 9/11? FUCK YOU heartless people.

  • there are 300,000,000 people in the u.s and this video doesn't even break 1,000,000. that's sad.

  • when i hear this song i think of WW1.

  • if someone says that this song is about god then i disagree i think this song is about hope ''and you still came back for me, you were strong and you belived''

  • i'm assuming all the people that have disliked this video did so because of the visual appearance of the video, and if not you are all kinds of messed up in the head for not liking this song, it is a very inspirational song that plays tribute to the souls lost their lives trying to save others out of the kindness in their hearts and their sense of duty to protect others. to all of you who like this song i thank you, and to all of you who have or will ever dislike this song you can burn in hell.

  • not just the souls that tried to protect the people, the people who were lost and could not be saved as well.

  • am i the only one that noticed when he said "heroes in the dark"they zoomed into the black guy?

  • seriously you people are gonna dislike this tribute you truely are heartless bastards

  • @tenderwedge You forget about the rare amount of talibans that have internet.

  • Im a Marine and sometimes i gotta watch this video just to get myself going on the hard days. Thank you.

  • my dad was on a plane that day at that exact same time as they were airing the footage of the towers and the planes crashing into them. i thank god that his plane wasnt hijacked

  • I'm not american (US citizen), but I'm going to serve my own country as a Air Force officer. If someday I manage to become as selfless and honoured as this men who died for others, I'm gonna be a realized man.

As PARA-SAR (rescue squadron in Brazil) says:

    For the others may live.

  • 9/11 was tragic enough. And we are still losing many good men and women overseas. This song really portrays the sacrifices everyone makes for their country. Im an honored to fight beside my fellow troops and this song always reveals the meaning and value behind serving in the military

  • God exists. heaven and hell, places after life exist.. maybe you wanna wait to prove it after you died.. but thing you should know by now that it'll be too late.

  • @DucksAndDoctor2007 This is not the type of video to preach -.-

  • this isn't about religion, this is about those people on that tragic day. So stop making arguments and let's agree that 9/11 was one of the worst events that happened not only to America, but to the friends and families who lost someone close to them in that horrific display.

  • Hayan sido los que hayan sido, SON UNOS HIJOS DE PUTA

  • Fuck you Atheists!

  • @LosT4088 if everyone was an atheist this terrible tragedy wouldn't have happened. Religion is the reason for all the world's major problems; think about that.

  • @Sn0wD0gg because religion dropped too low! its use as an ideology as a weapon rather than as peace of mind! God and religion, and quite different

  • @LosT4088 well god doesn't exist so that's a poor argument, and religion is an invention designed to control people on mass... and, unfortunately, it worked.

  • @LosT4088 it makes you think so .... well tell me all appeared. People the world, the universe. Where does it all?

  • USA made it by itself

  • there should deffinatly be a "love" button for this song:) not for 9/11 but for the tribute to it.

  • all my prayers for the people who died in 9\11

  • Can somebody tell me how a person can't dislike this?

  • @ggaaajnkjnsdh Well, it's a good song with a great message. Can you tell me why someone would look up a song they don't like on Youtube? I mean, it seems like there would be better ways to spend your time...

  • @PatriaFinlandia ....damn it I cannot listen to this song the same way I was before now that I know this.

  • People can question whether or not 9/11 was a conspiracy 'til the cows come home, but what nobody can question is how heroic the actions of those involved in the rescue missions were. They make me feel like such an average person when I think about how selfless they were that day, if only everyone in the world was half as generous as they were, we'd be living in paradise.

R.I.P to all the victims (civilian and emergency services) that lost their lives that day fighting the bravest fight of all

  • I lived in new york during 9/11 i was 6 years old listening to this song makes me tear up :'( The firefighters and the others who helped told everyone to keep their hopes up and telling them to believe and everything is gonna be alright even if they knew not everything was gonna be alright and that most people lost hope and stopped believing the firefighters just wanted the people to hope & believe :'( R.I.P everyone who died believing and having their hopes up and still died. Best song ever <3

  • gives me goosebumps every time i listen to it

  • Al Qaeda made 60 accounts and disliked!

  • honestly why would anyone dislike this song????????

  • in the land of lie, say the truth is a revolutionary act!

  • Seeing these pictures with this song always brings me to tears. I pray for the victims and the victims families all the time...

  • Ten years ago this country was attacked by it's own people. I don't give a fuck to those of you who disagree. Open your eyes.

  • do u think this song is good, bad, lame, or just stupid?

  • Get over 9/11 its the past we need to focus on the future

  • @Fici911 no, asshole. it's history and a hate crime, why would we forget? so many heroes and innocent people lost their lives on that day, and their families still mourn over the loss.

  • @thewonderfulkaty1 Asshole really? its a hate crime but if we morn over it what will we gain. we gain nothing for focusing on it except sadness. We need to focus on the future so we can prevent it from happening again. and yes it is history but we dont need to put huge emphasis on it there has been worse things that have happened in history.

  • @Fici911 if we forget it, we can't learn from it. yes, there are worse things. have they forgot about it? no.

  • @thewonderfulkaty1 Read my comment. I said not focus on it not forget it completely.Stupid...

  • @thewonderfulkaty1 stfu. The most memorable moment in history is not 9/11. It may be memorable to you because of its recency, but what about the total racism against blacks; what about the revolutionary war; what about the declaration of independence? and if you say its more important because we werent expecting it. BULLSHIT! The africans werent expecting it when the spanish came over there and stole them from their homes. Thats a fucking hate crime. WE (America) bought them. GF Dumbass.

  • @1011FAGGY agreed

  • this song and H.W. dont go togather

  • never forget 9/11/2001

  • the acoustic version of this is the best.

  • with out war id have no job. God bless the fallen.

  • @FlyingDragoon8 so your profiting off death?

  • @kingofallguitarheros He's profiting off making, or attempting, to make the world a safer place.

  • @kingofallguitarheros yes exactly, its the nature of being a soldier.

  • the war is what make thing wors if war wasit here den we wed be happy and havea new life ._.

  • @orik000

if having war makes you type like that, then yes war can go away. Get a dictionary and respect our soldiers. They are not dying for you to speak like a retard.

  • Think about the chance I never had to say

Thank you for giving up your life that day

    Beautiful

  • perfect

  • The day America reaped the hate they had sown around the world. Keep interfering and invading other countries, and this will only continue.

  • @altheathepirate And that's appropriate for this song how?

Yes, the US is in the wrong countries, but this song does not mention the government, only the heroes that died.

Please go somewhere else for your political rants. Maybe you can listen to Lupe Fiasco's stupidity if you wish to listen to 9/11 conspiracy theories.

  • love the part 2:39 - 3:06

  • I'm an atheist, so i don't believe in god or heaven or hell, but listening to this song makes me hope there is a god and there is a place after life for victims of this tragedy, simply so that there is some form of a heavenly paradise to those who lost their lives trying to get out, or those who gave theirs so others could. and even if there isn't a god, let's remember those selfless heroes who made the ultimate sacrfiice none the less.

if there is a god, may he bless these people as heroes

  • @uncletoby1379 amen bro lol

  • @uncletoby1379 agnostic, there is a god! go drink some dr pepper haha

  • @uncletoby1379 This has to be the one thing I've ever heard/read, that i'll respect for the rest of my life. May life treat you well.

  • @RadiationKitty I can not tell you how much faith in the capacity for human compassion has been restored for me by hearing this. Such a nice change of pace from the usual crap produced by humanity about conflicts in faith, beliefs, etc. May life treat you just as well, if not better.

  • @uncletoby1379 It is a nice change, a very nice one, I look and listen to it every now and then when I hear drama going on, or see people get upset over someone cutting them off on the freeway or other petty things, There's still good here, we just have to faith and be willing to see it.Life has treated me so much better since I first listened to this, believe it or not, I gained faith in alot ot things,

  • @uncletoby1379 I've met my dream girl, my one and only, my family has slowly but surely come back together after years of argument. I wish more compassion and love like this could be found, but it's a false hope I guess, it may never happen. Slowly and sadly, human compassion, diminishes every second...

  • @RadiationKitty Congratulations. Glad to hear it. Best of wishes :)

  • @uncletoby1379 Thanks man, you as well.

  • @uncletoby1379 This comment may have changed my perspective of a lot of atheists. You have gained so much respect from me. May life treat you well, and I hope to meet more Atheists like you.

  • @uncletoby1379 Umm what about the atheist that died there lol that means if you do there in hell well thats just nice.

  • @mistaglasses Atheist means they don't believe in a god... they don't worship the devil and only God can judge the fallen, maybe they were a good person.....

  • @ISISxVanishingPuppet I know atheist means they don't believe in god and the devil.

  • @uncletoby1379 Well said...well said...

  • @fersangui1 thats funny dont care who u r lol

  • wanna know what's weird this isn't my fave band in fact it's number 8 outta 10 but this song... is my my most favorite song of all time.

  • internet is becoming the only viable source tell your teacher to die already, she has no idea what she is talking about

  • @stewardo

Someone commented so into this video a long time ago.

  • Comment removed

  • Wow... i am doing a photostory at school and this is Exactly what im lookin to do

  • i count these civilians bigger heroes than a comic book could ever give me..

  • woah... 911 views......

  • our teacher always says the internet is no source...

  • @MaxSpeed700 Your teachers a retard. If theres a band this great on the internet then why is it not a source?

  • @okato786 because for all we know, everything on the internet can be a lie, it's possible to hack and change anything, and there's no reason that you should trust anything on the internet. The teacher is actually pretty smart, you are the stupid one here.

  • Rest In Paradise. You all deserve it.

  • @Asphyxiation No it wasn't, you fucktard.

  • Never Forget! 9/11/2001

  • 10 years ago lots of people tragically died in one more goddamn incident of people killing people because they thought they were justified. I'mma let the powers that be decide who's right or wrong, chill out, and listen to my favourite band. Peace.

  • Great song.

  • Everyone remembers the 3,000 that died that day. But thank you God for the rescue workers able to save 30,000. God bless the NYFD and all of those who helped save love ones that day. They are heros til the day the world ends

  • Rest in Peace.

  • Hahahahaahaaa funny

  • RIP to all who died on 9/11,and the heros who tryed to help.God be with all these ppls familys

  • I always thought of 9.11 when i hear this song on my play list D:

  • Rip for the people of the 9/11

  • RIP for the people of 9/11

The whole world shook that day..

  • Is it be or do you see a evil face in the smoke of the towers at 0:16?

  • NEVER FORGET 09/11/2001 <3

  • We will never forget 9/11/01.

Sitting in my high school classroom getting ready for the day. Little did I know that after that first plane hit, this would be everything about that day.

  • Haters point to others for their religion or their skin, but hate can't solve the problem it began.

  • R.I.P. everyone who passed away on that day :(

  • Never forget what happened today ten years ago, and never forget those who climbed the towers to save any lives they could. God bless.

  • 10 years ago today this country was struck by such hate that it still shakes us to this day. we can never forget the innocent men and women who lost their lives because of this. take time today to remember the brave heroes that did what no one else seemed willing to do, knowing that there was a good chance they weren't coming back. we should all be grateful for the lives that we have. always remember, never forget. sending out a prayer today for all those who gave everything to save the innocent

  • @hrmusicislife hope you have top comment for a long time brotha!

  • @SpadSopwithAce thanks!! much apprecitated!

  • @hrmusicislife haha party party..:)))) Yessss!

    :)))

  • @hrmusicislife common american, you always think about your kin, but you never think what you did in afghanistan and what you still do there and then you cry that Al-queda attacked your country and you got noly what, 3k deaths? Think about howmuch innocent people your soldiers kill there everyday.

  • @XiangXinWoMenHui We're trying to help them, alot of the deaths that happen are from their own people bombing themselves, they killed before we got there. they would hang innocent children because they did something wrong. We're trying to stop that.

  • I can't believe it's ten years.

    Rest in peace. never forget.

  • Ok, i'm not american, i'm just and Italian girl, but you know, every time i listen to this this song, i start crying thinkin' about how many people dead that day for such a stupid reason. I feel so sorry and i can feel the grief of people that loose their friends or family.

  • @MiSsSkEvAmPirE and do you think of those who died, and dying in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan .... and all because of America!

  • we mourn, but through unity we always defeat hatred!!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA

  • 10 Years. RIP to all those who lost their lives in this tragedy. Never Forgotten.

  • I was 14, and had just walked into my English class...I can't say any more than that. There is nothing I can say that will capture the utter terror and fear from that day, watching the second plane hit and the first tower drop. In 10 years time the pains still there and having witnessed it you can't explain it to those who did not see it. I tired last night, but the only thing I could say was "I wanted some one to tell me its gonna be alright, I wanted to belive that."

  • In honor of those who were lost, those who were brave, and in remembrance of this day...

  • 9/11 now, this is the first song I put on everytime I turn on my laptop/computer on this date. Maan. It's been 10 years since 9/11 incident, I still can't believe I watched the 2nd plane hit the 2nd tower. I can remember it was dark outside because I live in Norway and it was day in NY/US.

I hope this never happens again, I salute all those who died that day.

  • Remember where you stood when you heard the metal twist? Remember the cries of the millions writhe? Remember the day where we strengthened our lives? 3,652 days have come and gone. 87,648 hours ago it began. 5,258,880 minutes later we now stand in remembrance. The day heroes wore ash. The day we lamented together. The day to remember the fires of nearly 3,000 being extinguished. Remember the decade come and gone. Never forget The Day of Remembrance.

  • I post this every 9/11 because this is a strong song.....thank you those that risked their lives for us

  • Everyone post this video on facebook, twitter and whatever else, but never forget 10 years ago.

  • ok, you people need to grow up. it doesnt matter what religon you are, or if you think this was an inside job, or anything youre arguing about on this. innocent people died that day, so stop your little arguments and give those people some respect by remembering them, not wasting time arguing about why it happened

  • @BDGuitar96 thank god i found some one whos right for once.ur so right btw all these people arguing bout this crap, conspiriacy, stupid religion.dear god people wont shut up.

  • @BDGuitar96 preach it!!

  • everyone shut up. none of you are right with religion. how would u even know?were u there 200 years ago?no.so stfu. this video just shows what arguing can do to innocent people.just get along.

  • @njdevils3009 2000*

  • "think about the heroes saving life in the dark climbing higher through the fire time was running out never knowing you weren't going to be coming down alive" RIP ): may bin laden burn in hell!

  • I can't place the name to the voice off in the background at 2:50, but the voice at 4:20 is Abraham Lincoln delivering part of the Gettysburg address. "The world will little note, nor long remember, what we say here, but can never forget what they did here."

  • @sparta981 do you mean "abraham lincoln?" Because it definitely isn't the real guy.

  • @sparta981 That is NYC Mayor Bloomberg at 2:50, and former New York Governor George Pataki quoting the Gettysburg Address at 4:20

  • the 57 who disliked this are terrorists and you will die

  • anyone know who the speaking voice is?

  • Hi guys.. these attacks were devastating and all, i whent to Iraq because of the aftermath but the pentagon is designed to withstand at missle attacks PLANE crashes and many other things.. when the building was breached the hole had penertrated through 5 missle resistand rienforced walls. A passenger plane would have no hope of doing this. how ever the cruise missles used by the USN can do this or the USAF bunker buster, and have you noticed their is no wreakage around the gon?

  • @JLDickins You make a good point upon the conspiracy around this attack i personally agree with that because a passenger plane is made lightweight compared to more powerful carriers it would be like sheet metal compared to the pentagons defenses...

  • wow 56 people are terrorists for not liking this video/song

  • great video.. good job with all the pictures.. God bless the USA!

  • sorry, so many comments, but honestly why hurt each other, after all aren't we all family why can't we make life the best thing, because it is! why do we have to make each other cry, die, or lose some one they love war is not the solution, this is why teachers teach us all about sharing being kind and how to respect one another and i have to be honest 2 years ago i wasn't the nicest person but things changed and now i want to help make our world worth living reply and like if you believe this

  • @EHSLAX32 I know what you mean. I'm also an emergency responder (certified EMT, about to take my fire class) and I come from a family of firefighters and paramedics. I think this song tugs at the heartstrings of everyone who works in the Emergency Services. I think of it as a lesson of heart, though. We are the new generation of first responders and we should never forget what happened that day. Should something like this ever happen again (god forbid), you and I will be the last ones out.

  • This gives me chills every time I see it. I was only 6 at the time, but I still remember the panic in the air as everyone worried about what was going on. I discovered yellowcard about two years ago, and I loved this song even before I listened to the lyrics and knew why they wrote it. I love how they always have a deeper meaning to their songs when lots of bands and their music have just gone downhill. One of my favorite songs of all time.

  • you know, it makes no sence to me, why make each other suffer why? it hurts to watch this knowing those people working to make money to support their family, and this happens i'm sorry to every one who lost a life helping and who worked in those towers and also their family members (like this video if it touches you)

  • america should had a tird tower. for the tird plane, fuck with irak ; )

  • Comment removed

  • @SLVRONEGraffiti shut up you idiot

  • "your" fucking dumb.... Haha. Nice one.

  • Yellowcard's best song.

  • adoro essa musica

  • ya every time i hear this song id think of 911 and all the heroes dat came out of that day :(

  • Ahh, why do people have to call people that dislike this video a terrorist? C'mon guys we all have opinions, it's what makes us human, if they don't like the song it's not a big deal. It does serve a large message, I doubt people disliked because of 9/11.

  • How Could some Dislike this?

  • @MrMeanman333 maybe because it brings back memories?

  • I am a junior firefighter in my town. Watching my fellow sisters and brothers run into fires is a brave and hard thing to do. I cant even begin to say how thankful I am for all the men and woman who were there on 9/11 saving lifes and that are still today everywhere. This song really means a lot.

  • it was osama bin landen did all of this.

  • no wounder it's 911 for 9/11 ha i just notest well i'm smart

  • @bobsie911 except it's been like that before 9/11 -.-

  • @bobsie911 your fucking dumb

  • @Teirlyn Bit ironic

  • Let's get everyone to play this song this September 11th to mark 10 years since the attack.

  • i tribute this song to bin laden

  • Un fucking real... What a tragic day. Amazing new meaning to this song.

  • OSAMA DEAD : D

  • kick ass violinist

  • you cant blame bush for this its all osama
