i cried and think of my parents. But it makes to think about what a good life i have, there are so many people in the world thst live in terrible places
I thank God every day for my parents being alive and still married, for a wife that still loves me unconditionally after almost 30 years, for three kids that are all in the military and turned out fantastic, for two grandkids that think Papaw is king, for a few life long friends...yeah I got it good. The rest? Well it aint nuthin.
Tornado came through my little town a few days ago...this really ain't nothin we can replace all this but not our lives. People really need to not forget to give thanks to the man above us!!!!!!!!!!
i'm watching the man that means everything to me slowly die a painful death and watching it destroy the woman that means everything to me, and people wonder why i don't give a damn about the little things, quit complaining about the little things.
finally heared this song after 6 months of not lisening to it because it makes me to sad because im only 15 and my mom has heart failure and just hearing these lyrics makes me want to cry.
I didnt't cry, matter of fact I am happy because this song makes me realize how lucky I am and it makes me appreciate all of the things I have. Us humans need to help each other out and stop being so selfish.
I remember when my daddy was layin' in bed in the hospital. I called the hospital & the nurse told me that daddy wasn't gonna live through the night. My daughter & I were the ONLY members of my family that cared enough about daddy to be there with him when he went to be with the Lord. I had the honour & privilige to be holding my daddy's hand when his gentle loving heart stopped pumping. JCIL .
Im in Fairfield il and im heading down in the morning to see if I can help. I just hate to see something so tragic happen so close to home. First it was the flood a few years back and now an f4 tornado. I know if that happened to me I would want to know that people were banning together to help in any way possible.
this song reminds me of my grandpa watches his wife pass away of 53 years been together my grandma died may 18 2011 and then my grandpa died january 29 2012
This song hits home for many, I'm sure. I lost my baby brother to leukemia, my mom passed 2 yrs later, also cancer. My dad is a decorated Vietnam war veteran who beat prostate cancer, but lives with the memory of his fallen brothers. "I learned at an early age, there's things that matter, there's things that don't." There is no object or dollar amount worth a single moment with a loved one. Don't allow hindsight to be your way of learning like I did.
every single time i watch this, i cry. i try my hardest to hold it in, but it just drags it out of me. and im a man. i just feel sooo much of the pain from the song, i lost 2 of my best friends in afghanistan, and my gf of 3 years had died of breast cancer not a month b4 our anniversary.
I've been unemployed for over 20 months. I sart my new job on 2/20. This song has gotten me through the last two years. What I have been through ain't nothin'!
i am constantly around people who think that the worst thing they have to deal with is not being able to go out with their friends. little do they know that everyday there are people around them that are afraid to trust anyone because of experiences that they've had in their past.
a real man aint afraid to cry...i gotta tell the truth, if i was able to cry, id be balling my eyes out hearing about this man...if you think you got it tough, just look at others. you aint the only one going through a hard time.
I loveee him so much!!! i dont think ive ever watched a music video where the singer sang with so much heart and passion..it was so sad but i love it!
video kills me no matter how many times i watch it.... makes me wonder if im gonna have to face that with my wife one day or am i gonna go first and have to watch her go through it from wherever i may be
@frickjac000 If you didn't, you aren't a Man, and screw anybody who tells you different. Don't you ever forget that Men have hearts - big ones! And those hearts are full of love, compassion, strength, and passion. If they weren't we couldn't lead our children, women, families, and communities.
When I saw all the comments of people who cried, I thought "I've heard this song a dozen times on the radio. It's touching, sure, but I won't cry watching the video"
Damn was I wrong. I was getting pretty choked up, then when the book hit the ground at 2:59 I just lost it.
Real men aren't afraid to show our feelings. Along that note, allow me to express my feelings for you by saying if you were here id knock your teeth out and then beat the living shit out of you.
How's that for gayness, you piece of human trash? (using the word human very loosely here; anyone who suggests that getting choked up by this video is bad isn't much of a person)
this puts things in perspective i ALMOST died over the summer from a bike crash and now i see all the things i would miss out on so that crash aint nothing im still here
When you listen to this song, it really makes you realize how much people actually suffer. Here we are complaining that we lost Wifi or we don't have service and there are people out there who lost their parents, their siblings, and the one they love most. Really brings you down to earth.
@CJdubois aint is a word, screw the political world and the politically correct. lol,
i love this song though, always puts things in perpective, i was reading a review from The 9513 about the song, and well they bashed it, and basically didnt get the song what so ever, and like you said 432knight, sometimes the best thing to say is nothing to them, no one cares about a pathetic camera or news station when their house is laying on the ground after a tornado
i'm 11 and my daddy died when i was 5 and and it was the day of my first pagent but i was the last one to say i love you to him and when i herd this song i cried for 2 hours straight afterwards because of all the memories it brought back RIP skyalr eli boswell

i go out every thursday, friday, and saturday.. i love country music. but for some reason i listen to this song 20 times before bed every time i come home. (when alone)..this song is just magic. thats all i got. hope yall love it as much as i do.
The girl you just called fat?...She is overdosing on diet pills. The girl you just called ugly?...She spends hours putting makeup on hoping people will like her. The boy you just tripped?.. He is abused enough at home. See that man with the ugly scars?... He fought for his country. That guy you just made fun of for crying. His mum is dying. Put this on one other video if youre against bullyin. I bet 95% of you wont re-post but I'm sure the people with heart and backbonewill!
"I lost my daddy when was 9 years old" he did sucide... and the only thing i have left of him is my little sister and if she was gone i don't know if i would surive.....
@princess12587 it's an emotional video.. idk which was harder to watch, the boy losing his dad, the brother losing his brother or the husband losing his wife...
76 People can go die. This song reminds me of my Grandmother & Granddad. My grandmother pasted away in 2007.. I miss her more than anything in the world, & My Granddad was hit by the tornado's April 27th.. Everything I hear this song I cry like a baby..
I went through CPSsystem from the ages of 3-7. i got issues and i know it. the things i saw and the things i had to do in that time in my life and from there on out were things id never wish upon the devil himself. but its things like this that make me realize when i feel like im unloved or trash that no one wanted that things could be so much worse and that im one of the lucky ones. so one day when i go through something worse than the last ill just look back at my life and say this aint nothin
i have nothing to say. the music, the lyrics, the video, it says it all. u can just see all the emotion on his face. just one thing: dont lose hope, it could always be worse. power through; this aint nothing <3
Really like this song, lost my right foot and all but my big toe on left foot after being crushed under large steel pipe. They told me I'd loose both legs but came through with minimum amputations, so this aint nothing....
My dad left me when i was 12, I now know that there are thing that matter more. my girlfriend. im 17 and i wouldnt be able to survive with out my girl friend.
My Grandfather died April 7th, 2010 from Lung Cancer. His Wife(My Granee) was holding his hand while he was on his death bed. She was the last thing he saw as he eased off to heaven... This was two weeks before thier 51 Anniversary.
Basque villages were devastated by bombs,Franco's bombers pursued the ships, but they got to england safely. The orphaned basque kids were adopted by British people.God gathers the various remnants of His chosen race in His own way and in His own good time.We leave our Basque brothers in the Pyrenees til the day when"Their seed shall be known among the Gentiles and their offspring among the peoples all who see them shall acknowledge them that they are the seed the Lord has blessed"
The day before Thanksgiving my House caught on fire, As i watched my house burn inside with all our Memorys I cried. I called my mom and told her "Its burning" I couldn't think of anything else to say. After the fire man put out the fire my dad came he gave me and my big sister a hug and said "It'll be alright" Me and my Sister had Soot on our faces. My dad told us "It could be worse" Me and my sissy where in the house I whatched my house burn at the Age of 12 This aint nothing im glad were alive

76 People can go die. This song reminds me of my Grandmother & Granddad. My grandmother pasted away in 2007.. I miss her more than anything in the world, & My Granddad was hit by the tornado's April 27th.. Everything I hear this song I cry like a baby..
Rest in Peace Granny. <3

I listen to this and I wonder how I can listen and enjoy heavy metal and post-hardcore songs solely about killing those you don't like.
