Carl, sorry I have go to ask, did you say just say "Noodle Bit in court?" Instead of Nuno Bettencourt? Lol thanks for the lesson, it's just as great as all the others brother!
@GuitarLessons365 I'm so glad you've done this video! Nuno is one of my favourite guitarists too! If you could offer any advice on Play with Me...when I play the arpeggiated bit on the solo I have the shapes down pretty well but I'm not sure if I'm doing it technically correct. I find I'm only using my index and 'pinkie' which doesn't seem very efficient but it seems to be how my hand naturally wants to play it. Is this right? Any advice would be much appreciated :)
@chris1232123 Hi There, Check out my vid of me playing the play with me arpeggios, like yourself I use mostly index and pinkie but with a stretch I use my index + 3rd finger. Hope this helps, its not an instructional but you might get something out of it..
@GuitarAtoZ1 Hey thanks for the reply, yeah that's pretty much the way I do it - it feels the most natural to me but then I think "am I wasting my other fingers?". Nice job on Flight of the Wounded Butterfly as well by the way!
nice lesson, could you make a lesson on two hand tapping, there`s a awesome guitar player from brazil, maybe you hear about him, his name is Fernando Miyata and he shows some excelent licks using two hand tapping.
Yes - Nuno was influenced by EVH in many ways, but Nuno was influenced more by Ed's excellent rhythm-playing, riff-based songwriting, and a few warp-speed pentatonic-licks - LOL! However, the
"Get The Funk Out" style of tapping is more rooted in Steve Vai, and/or Greg Howe's approach to multi-string-crossing-arpeggio-tapping. (I don't remember EVH applying such licks? Maybe he did? IDK?) Such tapping is commonplace for shredders nowadays though (Govan, Broderick, Gottardo, etc.)
@Fuffuloo Just got it up on the site. Sorry, sometimes there is a slight delay between it going live on Youtube and my site. Click the link in the video's description now and you will find the TAB there. Thanks a bunch!

@chris1232123 Hey, Thanks alot !! Thats one of my favourites.
Looking at Nuno I think he alternates himself, I don't really see it as a waste of the fingers if it sounds right though!

I dig Nuno big time, so thanks for the lesson. Could you do a lesson based on the slap hybrid style Joey Eppard uses in the band 3?

His tapping was from Eddie but the most interesting part about Nuno is his Funky-rhythm part.
