this song is amazing from an amazing album. stupid americans criticized it. then the rest of the world did the same. and then madonna decided to stop writting music that matters, deep meaning songs like that one. instead we have Hung Up, Sorry, Give It To Me song that will never be remembered
i think the same thing..american life is against americans so it has been "destroyed"..if nothing fails or nobody knows me were single this album would have been more successfull

the real fans will always come back to AL album and i'm sure less to HC for example
and i think if the first single from AL would be Nothing Fails, things would be different. Amercan Life would be known as good album
