these fills aren't suppose to be amazing, He's explaining on where to get your "formula" for the fill. Take a much faster or advanced beat and use this same formula or double up on your strokes when u fill to your beat. Listen to whats the guy is saying not to the simplicity in what the lesson is using as a teaching method. He's not gonna explain this concept with some crazy ass advanced drum/fill set...hell,you don't even get the idea with a simple beat/fill !

in my opinion, that would be better lesson if ur teaching a beginner, but if a beginner masters ur style of drumming, i don't think he could be a better drummer, make ur vids longer, emphasize the beats, explain more about rhythms and counting's, and the most important thing is TUNE YOUR DRUMS.
