If the effect you were looking for were to give us the warm and fuzzies, I would say "Mission Accomplished." Much agreed with Lena RE: the film effect used. Gives it that timeless feel, so that it can be watched over and over and not feel dated. Certainly looks as though it's a part of someone's home movie collection. Cherished and brought out every year to invoke those memories from years past.
