  • at 2:34 theres the trigger contacts and then there is the big gear to the left, my trigger stoped working but the contacts are fine, in that little gap between the geat and the contacts theres this little tiny peice of metal that i think was glued in there to keep the contacts close together am i right? and how does it go in there, because it broke and im pretty surew thats whats wrong with my gun.

  • whats your take on ICS my buddy has a m4 im working on he paid alot I never woorked with ICS.

  • Is this better than A Top tech G&G t4-18?

  • @MrAndrei316---KWA are known for being the very best in the Airsoft world. So, yes...it is a whole lot better.

  • @AirsoftSoldier81888 Thank you!

  • @MrAndrei316 Depends. Many KWA parts are proprietary and for the money G&P and VFC are your best bet. This guy might be able to take parts out of a gun but doesn't know too much.

  • is that stock motor and which battery you use for these gun

  • Did you have to shim the gears at all?

  • @NotTheUsualChoice--no, not at all

  • @AirsoftSoldier81888 ok thanks

  • @NotTheUsualChoice not really any room to shim, the gearbox is super tight/precise as you would expect from kwa

  • @TheCbm72 Actually I recently opened mine up and had ti put a .1 shim under the spur gear, but it was too late and the all too common sector gear tooth had stripped off.

  • @NotTheUsualChoice

Wow Im surprised the GB closed, actually I dont think I've ever seen a shimmed KWA close hehe. I mean without putting the thing in a vice:-) Take care bro, happy playing......

  • hey recently my piston just stripped does anyone know any good aftermarket pistons that would work well in a kwa since the gearbox dimensions are a bit different than version 2 gearbox's

  • @thefoshizle2 Just buy the factory piston.

  • @GorhamAirsoft when i was using the factory piston the second and 3rd tooth were worn down really badly due to gears catching onto it prematurely.... gaurder pistons seems to work fine in kwa's

  • Great review bro . it helped out a lot. keep up with the videos. thanks.

  • You play in florida?

  • @TheDonOfAirsoft--Yep! Every chance i get

  • it has a metal nozzle, right?

  • @KyuDai24--yes

  • did you join the motor to a wire or anything and is it easy to change your spring ?

  • I want an honest to god opinion. I plan to get this very same version. M4 ris 2GX KWA. Is the internals good? I hear from allot of people its one of the best gear box and internals you can get. So yeah i just don't want to get it and send it back 50 times to get fixed

  • how can i get my kwa cqb up to 400fps with out getting a longer barrel (2gx kwa m4 cqb)

  • @whydoido1 why do you want 400 fps, its just more stress on the gearbox when you dry fire

  • @seniorkickurass because i got it as a gift and i don't play cqb and i would like it to have 400fps and a short barrel

  • @andromedarr the piston head has no bearing, and the spring guide has spacers/a fake bearing, so the spring is more restriced. Also, I have the same crappy piston head in my deepfire M4 silver series and the aluminum just makes a lot of uneccessary noise, slows rof slightly, and reduces gearbox shell life. I've run a polycarb cyma assembly and it's a lot quieter with the polycarb head (obviously)

  • piece of crap non ported aluminum piston head

  • @ScrewIntel--it's still working...so....in my own opinion, it's not a piece of crap

  • @ScrewIntel It doesn't need porting.

  • @ScrewIntel Ported pistonheads are not all that good, non ported phs do work just as good as ported ones as long as u use an accuracy increasing nozzle with a cross in the front, and they are more durable

  • @ScrewIntel Why?

As long as the air nozzle has a cross section, non-ported pistonheads work just as good (if not better) as the ported counterparts

  • @ScrewIntel ICS Also runs non ported, ported doesnt always give a better airseal but it does help with highspeed setups.

  • @ScrewIntel Non ported Pistonheads are just fine, as long as you have a crossed nozzle. The unported ones seal better (because you can use a better O-Ring), and are a little more durable.

  • Is that moe handguard the real steel or airsoft version?

  • @ajgnfu--it's the real steel version. I only buy real steal items for my airsoft rifles. That way, when i get my real M4 later on, i have a lot of stuff to put on to it.

  • @AirsoftSoldier81888 then one last question what kind of battery will fit in it that is not lipo

  • @ajgnfu--none. You would have to get a PEQ box to use a regular 8.4 or 9.6 and modify the handguard a little bit.

  • I CANT GET THAT PIN OUT THATS ABOVE MY TRIGGER! PLEASE HELP!

  • @camy365--very carefully, use a strong skinny rod or the tip of a screwdriver and hammer (gently) the pin our of the metal body. It took a while for me to do it, but it will eventually come out.

  • Well I got her opened up today. The piston is stripped and there is a tooth missing on one of the gears. So I will have to get a new piston, gears, and motor. Thanks for the help!

  • nice video dude!! good to see ya back into airsoft vids again!

    -TAT2

  • Here it is! Thank you very much. I wasn't expecting you to get this up so soon. I am going to go take mine apart right now and check on that piston. To tell you th truth I dont think my gun has that little disk by where the motor is that you said not to loose. Thanks though!
