Hi, I animated all the episodes of William, and it's been so nice to read all the lovely comments about the series. We had a great time making the show, but it's made all the better knowing that William is so fondly remembered.

I'd like to do a show with William the age he'd be now, about 17 and at college when he rediscovers his childhood wellingtons.

Does this mean you have any inside information on why the series hasn't yet been released on DVD? :) These uploads are only here because there are no episodes for sale in any format anywhere...I would buy the lot like a shot. As would several commenters here, I suspect. Look at the viewer count for this episode alone!

I don't own the copyright to William, I was just asked to animate the show. I think BBC Worldwide own it, but they've done nothing with William for years. Maybe someone would like to set up a Facebook campaign to get a DVD release, or a return to our TV screens? (I wouldn't get a penny for it, but it would be nice to let a new generation see the series)

I have a video with this episode on that I used to watch when I was about 5/6. I watched it a few days ago. It's called "The best children's video ever" or something like that. It had allsorts on it.
