Ua hala e Charles Kauhi Kaupu Jr. - kumu hula, legendary chanter, brother, uncle, classmate, hula brother & friend. And now the torch is passed to us... His chanting continues to ring & echo in the halls of heaven. Aloha oe e Kauhi.... until we meet again. Mahalo for this beautiful rendition of Uncle Moe's heart-warming and comforting music. ur music is so divine.. when I am stress out I just listen to u all on u tube and it helps me to relax and visualize the beauty of our hawaiian islands.. Oh how I miss the islands.. Just beautiful music u three makes much mahalo... From Lani in Seattle
mele nahenahe~~~~ many words convey through the fingers, soul and heart of these artists, but not a word spoken or sung..... How do you define Aloha? THIS IS HOW!!!!!!
i stumbled across this by chance..and i must say this was one of the most beautiful pieces of music i have ever heard! this is absolutely so beautifully fantastic! 6 minutes of pure heaven to my ears...such a truly beautiful piece of art u created together..i loved the smiling going on between u all , feeling the wonder and awe at making such beautiful music together! a jjoy to listen to u! thank u !i loved this!
Uncle must have a big smile....Israel, Skippy, and Willie Kaapana too....as Uncle tells the story, a young man that walked the halls of Queens Hospital while Skip was there shared this song with him, a song inspired by his aloha for Skip....the soothing touch of your ukulele's captures Uncle's love....please consider doing the same with Lima Huli, another favorite of Uncle's that was written by Liko Martin, Uncle recorded it with the Emerson's in 1980 or 81....malama pono
