  • nice photos, nice family and nice video :)

  • what type of pine tree is this ? so nice.!!! :)

  • @SouthEastQLD while it is a fake gas fire, that is still a good point. i dont know. and look for my time lapse this year of us putting up the tree. we got the tree and decorated it the day after thanksgiving, so all i have to do is edit it now

  • Wow, Thats a beautiful tree..well done guys..

  • This is a beautiful family video. I plan to send it to my family members during the holidays. Thanks for sharing it.

  • this video is ridiculous man. The quality, the song , the fire and the snow outside makes me wish it was christmas time. I love your work and hope much good will come out of your talent!

  • i have a d5000 an i cant find it in the shooting menu?

  • i said that off the top of my head so it might not be right. i use it a fair amount so for me its in the recently used menu which is the bottom menu, but one day i was just scrolling through the menus to see what i could find and i found it. so just give it a look through.

  • This was great! This option in the camera is one of the reasons im saving up to get the d5000!

  • a couple of my friends also hav dslr's i havnt noticed this feature on any other camera yet

  • Lovely. I so enjoyed this. You DO look like a very happy family :) If only our tree went up this easily. ;) Merry Christmas and Happy New year!!! I am hoping to get a D5000 in the next month or 2. Wondering how did you do the time lapse? Remote? Or is there a setting on the camera?

  • It is technically called "interval shooting". it can be accessed by going to the menu button and i think its under shooting options... i stumbled upon it one day when going through the menus and i love it!

  • Great work. And you look like a very happy famliy. How did you put all the pictures together to get a movie like this? Did you use some kind of software? Cheers

  • So I took the time lapse, 5 second intervals, and then i imported them all into imovie. from there i made them play for .1 seconds each and they string together to form a movie. Hope this helps!

  • @fishingfreek105 , You can do this on camera too, and can even choose the speed of shots per second. Each clip can be up to 100 pics. I bought this one for about a year and I'm loving. The results are excellent ... This function is not available even in D90. Cheers from Brazil...Good job by the way...

  • @JeviG12 thanks for the support! the problem with doing them on the camera is that you hav a very low resolution, by doing it on the computer you get full resolution and u can import them all at one. i do think if you are short on space with your camera and you cant export anything at the moment the one on the camera is better because once you make the couple movies, you can just delete the individuals. thanks for the information!
