To anyone that actually wants to know what this book is about,

The book is an apology for ridiculous price hikes and "free market solutions" which apparently are the reason why America is so prosperous.

The book does a good job of ignoring how the government invented computers, satellites, the internet and everything that made us prosperous today.

It's a flashy trailer, but this is an awful awful book which wants the US to go back to the 1800s.

i haven't read the book, but if you're going to put a price on life, i think it should be inflation adjusted, so maybe monetarily it's more than in the 80's, but relatively the same.

How can you put a price on life? I'm looking forward to the author's rationale there. Ford tried to do it in the 80's and failed. In addition, would life be worth more now than in the 80's?

One of the most effective movies I've seen. The graphics are so evocative. Says a lot in a minute and a half. Makes me want to read the book.
