Thank-you so much for this. It is so rewarding to hear this from someone who can clearly see and appreciate what we were trying to accomplish with this first movie of ours. The whole thing is an homage, and you certainly noticed that there was very little non-Terminator humor inserted into the movie, which definitely limited our audience, and made it tricky to predict how an audience would respond to it. Again, thank-you so much.
Did you actually watch the movie (40 mins.) or is your critique limited to the trailer alone? Certainly, if you hated the trailer, another 38 minutes is not going to do wonders for your opinion of the movie. I would like to know what it is you are basing your opinion on, because I am trying to make something of your criticism, I really am, but you have not made a single specific criticism for me to support or defend. Can you see (finally) what I have been getting at?
It's for fans of "The Terminator", and it's for artists who need a reminder that A) they CAN make a movie with very little money, and B) they should not be disuaded by dim-witted assholes who do not acknowledge or understand their effort.
I have a hard time taking this kind of blanket-criticism from someone who cannot even write a single sentence properly. Why not point out something specifically bad about the movie, and share that? I might even agree with you, then.
Yeah, I can tell you guys are fans because of all the trivial details you guys put into this, from the music cues to the dialogue that most people would have overlooked. Alot of the shots were identical to the movie, and I really appreciate this. Great job.
You guys worked really hard on this. I was just wondering because I've wanted to know where to find music that sounds like the soundtrack because I'm a big fan of the movie and music.
You could buy the original Brad Fiedel for T1 and T2 or the Marco Beltrami for T3 at any major record store. Or if you're looking for 'soundalike' music, a soundtrack for "The Gluttonator" is in the works, somewhere down the line. I have to say you should rent or buy one of the newer "Terminator" DVDs, which has a special feature that goes into all the s**t Brad Fiedel had to go through to pull off the soundtrack, working with the technology he had at the time. It's pretty cool.
Thanks for watching our little movie. NO, we did not get the "soundalike" music online. The entire soundtrack was composed and performed by Erik Molstad (www.1881band.com), obviously inspired by the original soundtrack. We didn't want to worry about getting sued, you know? And all of the incidental music was written by either 1881 or Rich Altenbach, writing under a number of different (made-up) band names --Rich is the guy who made the movie with me every step of the way for five years.
Thanks for the comments. All feedback is really appreciated. Just out of curiosity, though, did you watch the trailer or did you go to our site and watch the whole movie?

Saw the whole film. I laughed so much. When it isn't being funny, it's being clever in it's homages.

Haha, pretty good. The video quality wasn't very good though, a bit too dark. But I laughed and that's a good thing :)

It still does not change the fact that it is pure 100% shit. Are you happy with my grammar now? :D

Well thank-you for your strangely undying interest in this 'pure 100% shit'.

I do not understand you someone would go to so much trouble just to make this shitty video...

Good stuff. Nice transitions. But a little more exposition would have been helpful.
