Just memorize all of the notes in the fast part... than practice first slowly... just the fast part slowly like 3x half hour per day... Than your brains will get used to the movement of your fingers and u'll be able to play fast. This part is hard.. but not that hard^^. I learnt it in 2 days and I play guitar for 7 years. Hope i helped ya.

yeah it's the toughest part. I can't do it well in full speed ( learned the lick right 2 days ago and i started with a rediqules <-------wrongspelled i know xD like 25% and then moved up slowly and now i play 50 - 60 % of full speed , the hard thing for me is when shall move for the bending on 10th fret on b to 12 fret on b again

If you guys look through dudt's other videos, he does this solo in detail. That means note by note. Also, the tab is widely available on the internet. Plus there are dozens of other guitarists on yt teaching this same song. You guys need to be less lazy and start doing some basic and easy searching, start with dudt.

I believe Slash created and plays the acending stuff almost all on the high e rather than slide up the neck on the B and the E....at least that what I see in the videos of him.

not quite... the second bend on g string was a little flat and so was the bend on b string both r supposed to go up a half step the reason why they get the tabs wrong is cuz they don't mark in the bends don't ask why but they don't i looked after i learned it for myself from my teacher he got =his tab out of a magazine or soemthing idk but it had bends in it.

I agree. In working on my lead chops I've studied this solo - a bit obsessed, I will admit. And the tab I have sounds wrong when I play along. I'm kinda frustrated now. Granted, the album version is only a VERSION of it, but I want a close proximation. Do you remember the mag GUITAR for the Practicing Musician? I trusted that for gospel.

i know your pain but if you really want to learn it go to guitar center and they sell a cd player that can break it down for you...and the good part it can play very very very slow...hope that helps..the cost is 149 plus tax..

I meant exactly SLOW, this is VERY slow.. :P It's not as 100% as Slash does it on the album, it's more like a live version.
