  • I hate this book, it's not straight-forward, I don't like it when people say a bunch of crap and don't say what it means.

    also, penis.

  • @Heywazupgurl Mamaji was the family friend of Pi's family. He taught Pi how to swim, and told stories of swimming pools in France, on of which, the Piscine Molitor, earned Pi his name. Mamaji's real name is Mr Adirubasami, and is the one who introduces Pi's story to the fictional author in the Author's Note.

  • fuck you

  • life of pi is bullshit

  • These questions are dumb and obvious.

  • For the first two chapters I was amazed this was a true story.. then I read the back and saw the little white words that read "fiction" That kind of took away the magic for me... I'm still going to finish it though.

  • wat about the role of 3s in the book?

  • Whoever didn't already know all of that information from reading the book is illiterate.

  • which is the true story????????????????????

  • @Noobssuckass300 Neither.

  • o come on i just started the book this video just ruined it for me!

  • @cafekawaii then why did you watch it?

  • @xotweetypiexo It just says questions, not questions & answers.

  • @cafekawaii so you thought it was just top 10 questions people ask, without answering them?

  • Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!!! Orange Juice isn't a 'HE' Orange Juice is female, which is crucial considering she's the animal representation of Pi's mother and is at first compared to the virgin mary

  • Yeah!

These answers were pretty poor I must say.

Look at interviews with Yann Martell to further understand the book :)

  • um, so..this is questions people have who HAVEN'T read the book? you might want to make that a bit more clear. you might as well ask questions like, what is pi's last name? what you should be asking is, what does Pi's name mean and represent? these are all shallow questions and don't get to the root of anything. i can't possibly understand how they are the 'top' 10 questions for the book. we really live in idiocracy if people can't think of anything better to ask

  • I'm not sure I understand the point of this... none of these are questions you'd need answered if you'd read the book, these aren't exactly mysteries that needed explaining.

  • I understood everything but I still find that the book is horribly long and boring. Btw the answer to all those questions are found in the book andI already knew them.

  • I loved that book, and that girl was sssoooooo hhhooooottt!!!!!!!

  • thank you so much you have no idea how much you have helped my understanding of the book!
