  • Everybody to the Dark Side of the Moon! Now! It's our only chance!

  • KOOL!

  • u took this from a movie im after watchin like two weeks ago.

  • Here comes The Sun!

  • lol 0:28 empire state building fail!

  • SO EPIC if you start this vid with watch?v=J0RKpmjjpLQ 3:38 playing in the background! :D

  • Yeah...right, a flare travels 93 million miles...from a 840,000 mile diameter star. This movie are retarded. I liked "Next" much better.

  • I'm not an expert on solar flares, but eh, don't ya think a solar flare would be moving a lot faster than that?

  • @VeryFunnyStudios exactly, considering its light, and takes only 8 minutes to go from the sun to earth, you would think the destruction would be instant

  • @VeryFunnyStudios The speed of the flare would be limited by the rotation speed of the earth and the available/current area exposed . This would be much like a wave traveling over 1000 miles per-hour. Should the flare hit directly on a area with you in it, the event would seem instantaneous.

  • we will be gone just like a match is struck, we have never been anything more we just 4got.

  • at first I was like "WHAT THE FUCK?" but then I realized the Earth had been shoved up the sun's a-hole.

  • This is off the movie the knowing it isn't going to happen it's based on aliens -__-

  • The solar flare is dangerous but the worst is the CME........

  • america will get destroyed first. I will live longer if this happens

  • @DBZisthebestanimever you die from the heat dude. nice try though.

  • @DBZisthebestanimever but if i know EVERYONE in the world would die, i would want to die first and get it over with so it's better if we get destroyed first cause we would be relaxing in heaven while watching you guys still get burned alive and sufficate.

  • @NFLization lulz

  • That was no superflare, that was a motherfucking supernova.

  • @Helge129 if it was a supernova the earth wouldve been destroyed in a matter of seconds, together with the entire solar system

  • it can be possible?

  • incase me in ice.

  • Damn. That was more gruesome than Independence Day world destruction scene

  • i remembered the burning playground scene

  • im curios wouldnt it be more instant than that

  • It's chuck Norris doing a round house kick

  • from what they know, the largest type of solar flame that could hit the earth would only shut down the electrical grid. I wont come close to directly harming anyone.

  • Where Nicola Cage in this movie?

  • this is cool, but is this not more representative of the sun moving into its red giant transitionary stage?

  • How many end of the world predicitions did occour so far?

  • Okay guys....

the only way if this could happen is if instead of Mercury being the 1st planet, you put Jupiter then this is very possible. Because the magnetic field from Jupiter would fuck around with Sol and then Sol would have the interference to release this Death flare.

  • @Mrtrustno1 Why would Jupiter be involved by this flare?

  • stop, drop, and roll. i knew listening to smokey would come in handy. lol.

  • HORYSHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTt

  • I love how the solar slare is so intense, it's carrying debris off into space in the last shot.

  • @Gaavcio Almost correct. The Earth is pretty damn resilient. It would become habitable again, but it would take thousands of years.

  • this isnt the cause of solarflares

this is because 2 falcon punches collided =P

  • hello, its called hide under a fire proof blanket!

    har har jk

  • @Gaavcio looks more like my farts

  • wow, nasa is actually warning to all the world about a solar super storm in 2012 that could hit the heart. oooooooooooooooooooddddddddddddddddddddd

  • @avatarprimus I know...i heard about it too!It will shut off the electrical grid

  • poor moon

  • ouch that would hurt! burning fire coming at you at like mock 1

  • Okay, the sun is NOT that large when seen from orbit.

  • The media neglects to mention that the Mayan Calendar is based on a 26,000 year cycle for the same reason the ancient Greeks divided up their "great year" into 12 Ages of 26,000 years.

Ancient societies around the world observed that the stars appear to fall back 1 degree in 72 years. We know today that this is caused by the wobble of the earth's axis and causes climate change just as the tilt of the axis gives us summer and winter. An "inconvenient "fact for Al Gore and other AGW crusaders.

  • Even a "superflare" cannot incinerate everything. It would simply destroy every living thing by excessive radiation. This is Hollywood for you, what did you expect?

And besides this whole Mayan thing is BS. The Mayans did not say the world would end, they simply said that their calendar would end. The belief of the end of the world in one day is preposterous, mainly due to the fact that it is actually a belief formed by Western Society...

  • yeah its a little extreame but the Magnetisphere has a breach in it today compared ot the last super flare in the 70´s and 1900´s

  • actually we saw superflares on other stars MILLIONS of times bigger than OUR biggest flare.we saw it in stars similar to sun or smaller(this because of:binary system, because they are youth stars, because they have a "jupiter like" planet in a very close orbit)but if this happens, the movie results tragically realistic...but IN THE ISTORY OF THE SOL SYSTEM none of these MONSTER FLARES ever occoured for some reasons,so stay calm

  • ehi....the sun is pretty powerful, don't you think?the point is: is our sun capable of a MASSIVE superflare?history say NO

  • So, the thing is... why are people looking for ways to survive this thing, i mean if this happens in 2012 it would kill all of the trees, therefore no oxygen. I dont get why people are trying to build bunkers and stuff like that.

  • i would like to get incinerated by that thing, some reason i had a dream that i did -;-

  • knowing

  • rambo would have survived this

  • Maybe Chuck Norris too

  • sure, a flare the turned earth into a molten rock sure! chuck norris would've surived (probably not!) he gets on my nerves

  • Guy: Its really hot out here. Oh thats right.

Guy 2: Its a super flare, idiot!

Guy 3: Can you quiet ple- Ooooh CRAP!

  • this was all caused by a chuck norris orgasm

  • @Geo101 fuucccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

again this fucking Chuck Norris thing

  • Well, that kinda makes storing canned good and water seem redundant, doesn't it?

  • Lol

  • Not if youre REALLY thirsty before you die.

  • @Blegemoth Don't you mean futile not redundant?
