@greglecruel Yeah, too bad but next year I'll buy new Scoggin Dicky's crate engine for TPI, it's a 350 with 360 hp. With 5 speed and 3.55 in a rear it's going to be a killer machine!
I drove the same exact Caddy for about 5 years. That thing was quick for it's high weight. Not the fastest car out there but definitely not one be underestimated. Nice race!

I disagree with the 305 vs L98. i had the stock 305 tpi and swapped it with an L98 out of my uncles 91 corvette. major difference. well now its bored, with many bolt ons. but my point. the stock 305 has nothing on the L98
the 305 5 speed cars werent any slower than the l98 cars then, only 2 tenths slower, because they put the L98 cam in the 305 5 speed tpi cars.you had the L98 injectors/heads it would be faster than the autos were
@1987TransAmws6 doesnt mean its a 305 car. Some cars were 350 ttop cars. Yes yes they werent factory accept for 89, but you could still get the option thru other dealers of gm.
@1987TransAmws6 get on third gen.org and read up. 89 was offered for the 350 tpi ttops option, but was cancelled at the end of the yr due to ppl complaining and warrenty issues with it. So 89 was the only year, but aftermarket gm dealers did carry the ttop option on 350 tpi cars through out the 87-89. It just wasnt a factory production option.1990-92 were not available period.

Too bad they didn't sell 350 with manual gear, I drive an audi s6 4.2 with 6 speed and it's just fantastic!
