Hmm when I started out Quantum Physics had just discovered there are quarks. But now they've discovered even more smaller parts as well as dark matter which is currently only a theory but seemingly explains the expansion contraction rate of the universe as well as gravitational forces.

Sure quantum physics has made some major discoveries and very helpful ones.

What did they discover about God? They discovered He is one amazing creator! To create a universe so complex that works so perfectly!

I am just saying that the more we understand about our surroundings and how amazingly perfect it is, the more we appreciate God and his awesomeness.

Science is doing a better and better job at modelling and describing and even predicting how certain things will work. It has still no grasp of how/why it came about. Not even why gravity exists.

My standpoint since I believe in God, it makes it all the more amazing.

@paikimchung yeh basically that is what your saying...the more we know about the complexity of nature and its working, the more it points to gods wonderful creation....still a cop out. Nothing in nature or physics or astronomy, shows any kind 'made by god' characteristics, theres nothing to prove your god did anything other then your own beliefs and a book full of fairey stories. I can just as easily say the shoe fairy in my garden created evrything, i have equal evidence.

@Ken8129 That it is beyond our comprehension or imagination that God created the infinite complexity we find doesn't mean that He doesn't exist nor created everything.

Since science can not prove why or how everything came to be except by saying by chance (incredibly super infinitessimally small chance) and so far out of nowhere, it makes them search deeper. The deeper understanding is great, but a true answer will not be found that way.

@Ken8129 Evolution points that movement in the techtonique plates created land, the bible says "God said let the water gather in one place and the earth in another, and he called this land". Evolution then says that vegitation would be the first forms of life, the bible says "God said let the land produce vegitation: seed baering plants and trees" all this from a book that was written thousands of years befor darwin was born.

Science can prove every aspect of my life but, it will never give me the morals and power that faith has given me. I love this song...I'm not saved but I do believe in God. I'm only 14 but I'm desperately searching for an answer. Though there for awhile I stopped believing in God. Right now I'm going through so much. I lost my hero...my grandfather...and he believed in God and was saved but sometimes I question why God let him suffer and pass on. That is the answer I search for.

Soul - I'm sorry about your grandfather; I know how bad it hurts to lose someone. I lost my Poppo/hero ;) 18 years ago. I still miss him. I was literally halfway around the world, and couldn't even make it home for his funeral. The ONLY thing I've been able to come up with about "why does God let people we love suffer and pass on" is this....

So we'll think about how much He must love us, to have allowed His Son to suffer and die.

It might not help, but I hope it does.

@SoulxofxMelody We suffer in this world because it is a fallen world, full of sin. Still, nothing compares to the suffering that Jesus went through when He took all our sins upon Himself as He died on the cross. If your grandfather was saved then he is no longer suffering. He is in the presence of the Lord now, and you can join him-all you have to do is ask Jesus to forgive your sins and come in to your heart and save you. He wants to comfort you and help you get through this life. Just ask Him.
