One should not use the words Yusuf Islam in the context of 'humanity.' Never forget this ex drippy hippie who converted to Islam called for the death of Salman Rushdie live on British television though he denies this. Thankfully the footage of Cat ((deluded) Stevens is still available even though he has attempted to remove all trace of it. I'm all for 'humanity' but Yusuf Islam-nee Stevens is not. One cannot call for the death of an author-a real artist, not a pop star, and a be humanitarian

If you go to Yusuf Islams web page you can read him saying why he has dropped Islam From His Stage Name and that he will not wear islamic clothes or a turban and that he regrets being a conformist to the islamic crowd when he first converted. We are seeing the true Cat Stevens near the end of his life now understand that death threats and islamic fundamentals are anti human and not God he is changing he was great he can be great again

I can honestly say that this is the first song I've heard from him since he became a Muslim that has the old fire and passion that I loved in his music as Cat Stevens..what a WONDERFUL return to his TRUE musical prowess!

You should search for Yusuf's songs from his CD released last year titled "An Other Cup" which has some songs which seem to draw upon his old Cat Stevens style, but also includes beautiful songs of inspiration. My favorites from the CD is "Maybe There's A World" and "Green Felds and Golden Sands."
