If you're interested in this story then read how the alarm was raised on phonehacking back in the year 1999. The Daily Mirror, The Sun newspapers were both involved in phonehacking story in 1999 and Vodafone said on a BBC Radio broadcast that there was no risk. Check out the full story and fully documented proof at wwwhackergatecouk There's even an invoice dated 20th September 1999 from Mirror Group Newspapers titled Mobile Phone Scandal for a story that never was !!
Thanks to TheGuardian team! Society owes you ! it's been 35 years since we saw USA Congress+ World Politicians breaking their own Laws+Rules to help Rupert Murdoch make money, corrupt everything and push his extreme neocon agenda: Cover-up of the Silverstein-WTC7 -Insurance-asbestos fraud ,push for the Iraq War based on lies, push for deregulation w/Greenspan-Rubin-Gensler to feed AIG+Greenberg, push to cover-up 300 billion in wasted War Contracts, push for tobacco @ Philip Morris, junk foods,etc..
nick davies sources are tax-paid detectives..who, yes, take bribes for giving information, and the guardian pay them; im failing to see the moral high ground.
@podfictiononline hnn. But how does Nick Davies get the evidence that Murdoch was doing any of these things. Can only have been members in the government.
@Tokyorosebiz They hacked the answer machine of a 13 year old murder victim, leading to the family thinking she was still alive. Nobody will forget this for a while
Is it me or is there a similarities with the down fall of the Rupert Murdoch Empire and the Harry Potter Films. The Man looks like Voldermort, and he employs Rebecca Brooke who hangs out with the Death Eater Bellatrix Lestrange. All that's needed is for Ed Miliband to wear a pair of glasses and have a wand. (I think it may be me as I have not been getting enough sleep lately).
Rarely does one see in the American media anything that approaches the simple, honest, straightforward journalism of this piece. So important. So well done.

This is a little insight into Wall Street. Who controls our facts?
Who continues to get megabucks bonuses.
Anyone who dissents is hacked. Why disrespect those who died?

Nick Davies is like the Harry Markopolos of the media, he stood strong in the face of brutal monster and exposed it.

David Cameron is hindering the immediate process of appointing a judge - just as a guilty man would delay, if possible, going to court.
