i got one of there suckers coming about time hay , well now you can purchase complete jets and props to easy to keep them running now, and yeah bigger after market jets are cheap as well
@450hp202turbo That combo did me well for a long time but there is more efficiant ones out there now man. Look into the hobby king gear, its cheap... works great and its cheap! They have all the watercooled stuff you need.
@4mods OK yeah the 3060kv water cooled hobbywing on looks the go with 70amp esc. cheers man ,5mm shaft though ,need to set it down with some kind of adapter. ??
another sick vid 4mods, i cant wait to get mine running brushless..... i found a guy at the local markets that has a few so i grabbed 2.... every vid i see of yours just gets me super pumped, are u running 2 or 3 cell??? .... im waiting on a smaller esc for the lil 20-40 inrunner i picked up..... i think the 120 swordie might be a tad big, lol.
keep those vids crankin brother...... check out my jetboat vid, lol...... i still had fun :P
@stilllookin That is awesome man, thanks! Your pool looks killer for testing! I run mostly 3 cell packs in my jet boats along with 4 cell in some cases! hahaha
@stilllookin You should waterproof it. Get some silicone conformal coating and spray the board, keep your pins covered or the spray will be impossible to get off. Then what I do to really make sure is put in some shoe goo into the box as I close it sealing it up even more. I haven't had a blown rx in quite sometime. I have a video on it.
What kind of motor should I get for this boat but in the lower price range and what amp esc should I get if I want to use nimh batteries and lipos and what kind of reciever I have a traxxas 2.4 ghz radio thanks
@conman3420 3000kv watercooled outrunner, with a 35amp esc watercooled as well, then you can get another rx that will bind to your traxxas 2.4 for sure from you local hobby shop.
Hope this helps! Have fun.
This boat however is different then stock, I run an ABC hobby jetski drive with a 80amp esc (no watercooling at all) with a 1800kv 540 sized outrunner! haha.... so much fun!
@ka4172 No, many parts have HUGE rocks that will be a problem or the water gets to deep although I do like your idea and have done this with my jet boats.. start at the bottom and run up as far as I can.
@AbstractRC ABC hobby jetski drive, 1800kv Turnigy outrunner with a 80~90amp speed control.
This boat cost me $50.00... LOL. I picked up the brushless for that much and the ABC drive and boat were given to me from a friend. I was pretty lucky on this setup to say the least.
Thanks Edward!!!! (The guy that hooked me up, lol)
@ 4:42 That was a really sweet looking move man! The scenery and everything made it look like some sweet looking river jetboating. Good job really enjoyed this.
You weren't kidding about it being EPIC bro! What a perfect little flow to play in! Sweet video dude.(napolean wishes he could jump as sweet as that!)
@russelleden1 yeah, I think these drivers felt they had something to prove today... Napolean can be seen sitting on the rocks in the back ground in a couple shots during this video but they never hit the water all all. LOL
@crpyrob Thanks man, I tried surfing another spot like that waterfall at the start but the flow was just a bit to low and I was eating up mossy goo from the rocks.... This was the best part of all the footage of that none sense .. LOL.
@damfurst That is exactly the one that is in this boat... The weight of the 4 cell really helped push this thing threw the water nice. Thanks man! I had a great time.
how do you make it so water does not get in the boat from the hatch nice vid!
yo90bosses 1 month ago
@yo90bosses In the years I have ran these boats I have yet been able to seal one up. LOL!!!!
SO I make the hole a bit bigger where the stock antenna used to come out so I can easily drain my boat of its water. Most of us do this.
