So this thing goes for about $600? Why not just go to Home Depot or Lowes and buy a 4x9 utility trailer for about $800? Or get one even cheaper by checking craigslist? They are just so much more versatile and from the looks of this thing, far sturdier. And they really don't take any space to store~ 2 cinder blocks and you can flip it up on its side.
Great price & love the idea. Collapsible trailers should be a good market because most ppl don't have a place to store a rigid one. Problems I see are lack of versatility (limited to mc's). Definitely gonna rust, but probably only with misuse. Trailer axle looks a little far back too, but I guess it won't matter because most trucks can put 10000lbs on the hitch. Motorcycles usually weight sub 600lbs anyways. Looks cool.
@jkauffman990 in the U.S., the short answer to your question is yes IF you plan on using it on any public roads. Required trailer lights include turn, brake, and license lighting. Licensing a trailer like this should cost only a few dollars per year, and most car insurance will cover minimal costs for replacement of trailers or trailer contents, so you'd want to check that with your broker as well.

That would be great for my dirtbike, but I wouldn't trust it to haul my Springer.
