Is this a handsome MIDI/Sample controller? Why would you drop down to play same notes. There does not seem to have much musical logic at all. You changed sounds without activating anything, and the sequence of your fingers made no sense musically at all.

I didn't fall off the bananna wagon yesterday (it was 2 months ago), so I think this is a stenography machine with pretty colors on it. Hmmmmm??
