Cool collection! I have 3 polaroid instant cameras at the moment, and a polaroid 35mm camera. I also have a bunch of cheapie 35mm "toy" cameras, a Vivitar 700 (Instamatic ripoff), an Instamatic X-15, and some older rollfilm cameras. I did a video of my vintage cameras, but I haven't shown most of the rest of them yet.
Hi! so, you said that there's a store where you buy spectra film for only 5 dollars, and that's awesome! so i bought a polaroid that uses 600 film, and i just didnt know that the film for the camera was so expensive... Does that store where you buy spectra film sell polaroid instant 600 film? Or do you know anywhere i can buy it cheaper??? (besides ebay, amazon... i've been looking there already), Thank you so much! And you collection is a-m-a-z-i-n-g.
@sublimando1 I'd recommend The Impossible Project, they sell various types of 600 film and sometimes they'll have a promo of sorts on their website. So that would be my advise. As to the store. I bought one pack of 600 film for around the same price as the spectra but to my surprise the cartridge was empty. I haven't gone back to that store in so long.
What an amazing collection of cameras, I am a veteran musician just getting into photography, make sure you label your cameras at the antilosta website just in case you loose one one day, I have all my valuables labeled with antilosta and recently had my Nikon D3000 returned back to me after having lost it away from home in one of my gigs.
You know our instamatic camera, could you tell me more diffrent brands of those type as in its small sort of thin and you can take picture from the side no like regular cameras
@xXWolffangxXx I'm not sure but i think the kodak brand is the one who had a great variety in those type of cameras. apphotnum . free. fr/ kodak-e. ht ml (<---just take of the spaces to go to the link)
i'm so lucky i found an amigo polaroid camera with the strap for five dollars at value village it works and it looks brand new :D another to my collection ahaha
@daveobot there's two options: online, or locally. you can try ebay, its always a good way to sell something and there's always ppl still buying and looking for vintage cameras. locally you can try and pawn them or use craigslist
@cataglia93 visit the impossible project website =] they sell spectra film. i think their cheapest is 10 dollars plus shipping. links in the description
@pheefur yeahci found an acoordinq one too but it was like for 30$ and the qquy wasnt sure if it worked>.< GAAY I SAY,lol may i ask where did yuuh buy the spectra film :} ?
@CristalBeatdown i used to get it at this small store close to stc, they had a few expired packs, but i dried them all out. now i just order from the impossible project website =]
hey i have to instamatic kodak cameras a 104 and a 124 check em out at my page its called tristans camera collection im also a collector but i only have 6 cameras
@mathewSOMETHING wow i just did some searching and your right, id be saddened at this discovery =[ but all is well =]..check out the impossible project they started selling 600 film and the prices are affordable. hope this helps out, ill see if i can order some film from them and maybe do a review of sorts, cuz im on my last pack of spectra film! =[
your best chance would be finding them in thrift stores, or goodwill stores and I think thats the best way becasue they are way cheap for some reason and they have that vintage feel. yes every polaroid camera prints the picture on their own. hope this helps =]
it was just pure luck. i chose the randomest store in a small plaza looked around and found a pack, i asked the cashier if they had more and she said yes, they kept them behind a counter because they had been stealing the 600 packs and all that was left were spectra packs. the store is sorta of a thrift hybrid i forget the name.
I live in texas and i thought I'd never find anything good! It's all about constant searching (well i think) going every once a week, and having a good eye.
