I have watched your video very informative and looks simple, can you tell me why then when I have followed your set up video there is no pressure in the water coming out of the Karcher?
just bought the karcher k3.540 model yesterday ,its the same as the k3.550 the only difference is u dont get the delta racer with my model and i must say its a well built machine and the pressure is SUPER,i was wondering could i use the snow foam by filling my detergent tank up?or do i need the snow foam nozzle?well pleazed i stuck with karcher.
So HOW do you open the bottle, other than put it in a vice and probably break it mine seems impossible to open. A bit of a pain since I also bought a gallon of detergent :(
@m99ade I bought the same thing and tried to open the bottle - mission impossible !!. I've since ordered a couple of bottles from Espares at £6 odds each + P&P (and they were dispatched very promptly) however I can buy a Gallon of the stuff from Makro for about the same..........so How do you open the bottle.....the question is still unanswered
@Skypilot617 Hello. Yes the bottle is refillable. If you've got the detergent dial turned up to it's highest, it will empty pretty quickly, you're right about that. We've got detergents available on our site under the Cleaning Products > Pressure Washer Cleaning section.
The bag/pack types make 5 litres which will keep you going for a while.
Just a point: The kind of hose connector you have used in the video (Hozelock Aquastop) is not ideal for pressure washers as it restricts the flow, many people have had issues with continually using that type of connector.
@David5495 Thanks for the tip, makes sense to me. Although, the water pressure is so pathetic in my area, I doubt that it makes any difference in my garden! Definitely worth bearing in mind if you have decent water mains pressure though.
@eSparesVideo No worries, this information is from a specialist pressure washer dealer whom I am good friends with since pressure washers play an important role in car valeting (which I do as a part time job).
0:08 you're a serious bit of kit too ;)

Good and thanks. Looked like Rambo there at one stage!

I wish Karcher would stop messing around with the mould design, since that's quite an expensive thing to do for no reason and it's going on the bill.

As with most things that will run out you have to buy some more!!!

Is the detergent tank(bottle) refillable - or do you have to buy a new one when it runs out - very quickly I imagine.
