It's sad to learn that he's ended up in a bad way after being so good in his heyday in the 70's and 80's . I would go with what opalbabe1963 says. It would be great to see or hear that he's on the mend and working in film or TV again, even if it isn't quite at the height that he once was at. He must have family and friends who are helping him to get back on his feet. Look at David Haslehof , another big star of the 1980's . Jan Michael could at least be doing something like that .

I fell for Jan when I first saw him in Airwolf, I'd never seen him anything prior to that, and I still love him just as much today, despite everything that I have read and heard about his reputation, and the curreent state of his health.

Hang in there Jan, because there are lots of us who still really love and admire you and want to thank you for all the happiness you brought into our lives.

I guess it's true that fame and fortune can't always buy you happiness.
