  • brb falling asleep :)

  • i love shock treatment lullaby

  • Jessica Harper has a fabulous voice, it's as smooth as honey. Pardon my French but, wtf is wrong with you people?

Richard and Pat's voices are gorgeous too, I could listen to them all day. I think Jessica and Richard have more skills and control than Pat though.

  • Thanks a heap.

  • love it!!!!

  • love this songg :)

  • I can't stop listeing this song for the last 3 days. It's just too beautiful.

My heart trembes in ecstasy when Nell voice breaks a little when she says "everyone" at "1:45". Maybe it's a mistake (I keep thinking she was about to say "everybody", or maybe she did't reach the note), but t sound just beautiful, vulnerable and natural.

She's supposed to be the easy sexy girl on this movie, but she's just plain cute this time.

  • Even though this movie is clearly not as great as Rocky Horror it's still great and has amazing music. This has to be my favorite song from the movie.

  • I love Cosmo and Nation (very obvious incestuous relationship) in this movie as much as I love Riff Raff and Magenta (not too obvious incestuous relationship, but somehow more sexy) from Rocky, but I really hated the Janet from Shock Treatment! She sang like a man... This new Janet practically makes me hate this movie... I tried, but it's too hard to avoid all her scenes... (I only like Patricia, Richard and Nell.)

  • @jccjccjoanne

Lol, yeah, I got used to her voice but then this song comes up and you hear Pat Quinn's voice, then Janet's voice comes on and you're like "Whoah..." :P

I really watched the movie for those three myself of course. And for Richard's brilliant songwriting.

  • @jccjccjoanne For me, its only ST Janet's singing that bothers me. When she's not singing, she's not a terrible actress. Cliff DeYoung does a great job playing both Brad and Farley in completely different ways. There's a lot more to like about Shock Treatment than just Patricia, Richard and Nell. No offense.

  • @BillLeonJr She does have a deeper voice than Susan, but I do think it fits with the nature of the story (they switched up who wore the pants in the couple from RHPS, if you noticed). Jessica has more of the rocker voice in her. I don't think the songs in ST would've been good with a higher pitched Janet here. The more sultry, deep, take charge voice helped the songs along here.

  • @jccjccjoanne Janet sings like a man, and Neil sings like a woman (sometimes)... i think it actually makes the movie even BETTER. :3

  • @jccjccjoanne i read somewhere that the idea is that they're actually husband and wife and just pretend they are brother and sister for the cameras. also from the "script" of the Old Queen, apparently he was totally with Magenta because Transylvania is weird like that...i can deal with the new Janet, it felt more like the original stage janet

  • Thanks for posting this! I saw this movie when it first came out & loved the songs so much I bought the album and "Lullaby" is my favorite song in both Richard's movies (Shock Treatment and Rock Horror Picture Show)

  • ME too! LOVE love this film. Maybe more than Rocky Horror.

  • @precious01470 ARE YOU CRAZY! haha long live Rocky Horror

  • thanks for posting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is my favorite songs from the movie.

  • @wickedshyn
