  • If y'all made any mistakes, I didn't hear 'em. All I heard was the magic of music :) You were both very precise if not entirely smooth, but that comes with practice. GREAT JOB!

  • Thanks for posting this. I thought you played well. I just started playing bodhran and I was playing along. So if you made any mistakes, I was making them louder.

  • fantastic playing keep it up .5 xxxxx

  • Be Proud Very Nice

  • :) Well done.

Couple of tips - relax. Don't worry about how you look~ And instead of using your breath on double notes, cut them with your fingers.

    If that makes sense.

    Still, well done!

  • Hey, WOW you guys are both really good! I have an irish/tin whistle, but can't play that fast. I love the irish washerwoman. I can play it (SORT OF!) on the flute and my sister plays accoustic guitar. GREAT JOB!!!

  • Awesome! Thats great! Great song!

  • Hey this is just brilliant - could you post the tin whistle notes, trying to figure out the notes in the high part of the washerwoman but can't keep up as its so fast !!

  • Thanks :)

If you search for a site called "thesession" on google, you will find the notes for these and other tunes. Enjoy!

  • Well up lads!

And that's the rain crashing on the rocks.

  • Really good! Love the sound, I wanna learn how to play an instriment and I think I would give this a go.

    Go Go Lads!!

  • hi i am algerian and i like irich music can you send me some whistel sheet...please .thanks.

  • This was wonderful :) You do look shy about the camera. Shouldn't be though - you're very talented. I'm a guitar player and just bought a penny whistle at the local Highland Games. I can play by ear so listening to this over and over will help me figure out the Irish Washerwoman :) Thanks for posting!

  • Great job! Any chance you can tell me what chords the guitar is playing? Again, sounds awesome!

  • Thanks, docforrest.

If you look at some of the older comments in this video (about 1 year ago), you can find my posting of the guitar chords. Have fun!

    Nice dancing btw :)

  • Love it. Thanks for posting - you are really good on the tinwhistle and I can tell you enjoy the celtic music. Thanks for posting this - I love celtic music as well.

  • Love it!

  • awesome

  • Really awesome work! you can so tell he was not happy to accompany you though lol either that or he was concentrating

  • I have really enjoy watching your style and rhythm, especially as a beginning whistler. I noticed you live in Portugal. I have an Aunt and Uncle (Sarah & Dick Robison) that live in Carvelos. Not sure if that is close to you or not. They have been there for over twenty years. You should look them up, they are really a hoot. They have been missionaries for over fifty years.

  • Brilliant ! Is this a C whistle ? Because you're playing with a guitar...

  • Hey, thanks!

No, it's a D whistle. A guitar can play in any scale.

  • the guitarist should learn to play the irish way, which is much nicer with this music.

  • awesome man

  • amazing. :)

  • nice interpretation. if u change experssion sometimes it isn't a problem.

i think , your brother doesn't like irish music ,and you don't have the need to play irish music, but u play irish music only for the others.

  • Well, my brother likes irish music but it's not his favourite kind of music. As for me, I play Irish music because I love it, not because of others. I don't usually play any other type of music besides irish scottish, etc.

  • You guys are brilliant! Keep it up :)

    Jim - England

  • Beautiful. Thank you guys... very very nice.

  • Dude, shut up... they play beautifully. Also they're portuguese, not arabs, you dumbfuck!

No place here for racism, these guys have talent and passion for celtic music, what's wrong w/ that?

  • shut up elzz u friggin racist........... i bet u cant even play as good as those guys!!!!!

  • lol.....

  • Okay, you don't have to be from a certain culture to enjoy certain music. Otherwise the only music Americans could really enjoy of their own would be country, considering everything else is a blend. If they like playing celtic music, let them play it.

  • There are some great american Composers, Aaron Copland comes to mind... but I definately agree with you.

  • There are a lot of brown skinned people over the world.

    Not just in U.s.

Open your eyes and try to See a little bit more than the edge of your nose

  • Legal, muito bem tocadas!

bom ver o mundo inteiro manter a tradicao celta!

  • Loved it ...Thanks..Great going.

  • Its strange, I feel like I've seen you before...

  • wow.... your ignorance astounds me. Everything you just said is un-christian, and to hate jews because you're christian and one stole your phone and beat your dog does not validate anything that you have said. Now go read your big book of bedtime stories filled with brimstone and crucifixion and stop hating because nothing good comes of it. damn....

  • Why would anyone hate everyone of one religion. That's stupidd. Anyway, Christianity came from Judaism. I'm Christian and I like and respect Jewish culture.

  • ...reply to theskly.

also, the 1st Testament of the Holy Bible came from the Jewish holy book, the Torah

  • poxaa! muito legall!!

    q whistle é essa? é em D? é Brass ou Nickel?

    Parabenss!!!

  • Obrigado pavarine.

  • no im not like hitler, honestly i hate hitler...but i dont hate jews cause im christian but i tolerate them

  • There are racists everywhere. Don't rubberstamp all Germans because of your silly preconceptions.

  • Good going. Nice speed - it's not as easy as it looks to learn but better to play along with another instrument. Lucky you had your brother there!

  • I'm german >=( and im not racist

  • great job, keep up the good work and practice practice

  • I'm dancing to these!!^^

  • Could you please tell me where did you exactly find notes for "Irish Washerwoman"

  • HEY!!! You make me very happy just to listen to you play! Makes me want to jump and dance around in the forest like a woodland creature! Thank you an awful lot!

  • a nice tune. But I don't think a guy should be sitting like that lol. Usually when people play acoustics like that they sit long legged to feel the beats.

  • That doesn't matter, I like the way he sits.

  • You guys are great!

  • I like these Irish jigs, also if they're played super-fast

  • man i wish i were Irish:( but german is good too :)

  • very good thank you for the great music that you play freely for us. 5*, youtoub may have its cons, but videos like this keep me comin back.
