what did you do to get the film look?

I used the Letus35 adapter with Nikon & Canon lenses. Shot in 24p with my HV20. The shallow depth of field makes it more film like. Thanks for your comments.

How did you capture the 24p? YOu use vegas to import 24p video? I use premier cs3 and i don't think it can capture 24p from the hv20.

Just captured as HD. No other setting.

I used Vegas 7, captured it in HD format, rendered in 1080 24p with 2-3 pulldown. Haven't tried Premiere cs3. :-)

nice video man!!! how was using the HV20 with the letus35... im thinking of getting a hv20, thats why i ask...also did you shoot this on 24p...i hered there was a cunfusing process you have to go through to achive true 24p... if you can comment back it would be great, Thanks.....

Thanks for your comments. My HV20 Letus35 mini is a fantastic rig. Imagine using it as a family vacation camcorder then transforming to a professional film-like setup for shooting music videos and AVPs. It's a steal than spending $3k ++ on a HVX. This is a very good rig to start on. Don't be misled by issues with 24p. I shot this on 24p, captured, color corrected, edited & rendered on Vegas 7 without a glitch. :-)
