  • damn nature you scary

  • THATS CRAZY

  • This is my video! I was surprised to see this on Youtube.

It was an amazing experience to capture on film. I was a little excited (as you can hear in my voice)...

  • @SkidmoreMedia Hi Tony, I was hoping to contact you before I put this on youtube, but I did not have your email. This is probably the best Michigan tornado video I have seen in the last few years, and I have used it in the Skywarn programs. It's a classic! : )

  • i live there!!!! well in grand ledge

  • i live there!!! well not in the town there

  • i live there!!!

  • Hha ilive in Mi.

  • yay,I'm from michgan!

  • my dad was in that :(

  • You got a great video there.

I grew up in Plymouth, Mi, and saw my first tornado the summer of 1965, I was 5 years old. It was about two miles to the south, and moving east, I've been fascinated by them ever since.

  • that is great footage of the storm

  • hahah whoever is talking in the video sounds like my dad! rofl!

  • wow the commentator is definitely MR.OBVIOUS

  • Wow was that thing close! It broke up and just barely past your house.

  • great video! i remember when news 8 had this on tv that day.........crazy!

  • @JasonJForrest omg i remember this 2!!!! i was FREAKED

  • I remember this, I went to my Mom's that day and it was sunny outside then later my mom said we had to leave (we lived in a trailer park in paw paw) When I went out the sky was pitch black and when we were driving into town (her work office had a basement) we hit a tree limb, scared the crap out of us. We made it to her office though... Craziest day of my life.

  • i was in school during that

  • Extremely fast moving tornado.

  • i live in michigan inkster actually omg it scared me when i heard that on the news!!!

  • WHOA IT IS RIGHT THERE!!!!!

  • dang kyle or kyles dad how you get so many views and commet kyle or kyles dad

  • that guys cmments were funny.

  • i remember that day it was pretty nasty around the capital area and mid michigan

  • Yeah. You can definitely see the rotation.

  • I remember being with my cousin on the way home when this happend i was hyper ventilating and crying because we could hear the sirens really loud!! i hate tornadoes! =[

  • It's best visible from 1:25 to 1:35, then again at the end. This isn't your classic Great Plains twister with a high cloud base. The lower levels of the atmosphere were very moist with this event, typical of many of our summer tornado events. So the classic "elephant trunk" funnel is replaced by a more amporphous looking rotating cloud mass and lower cloud base. The cool thing with this one is you can definitely see multiple suction vortices from 1:30 to 1:35.

  • blind twat there 2

  • Definitely a tornado. The only way to see MI tornadoes it seems is to be in the right spot at the right time or just look out your window and you might catch something. They always seem to be rain wrapped.

  • @xrisman get glasses noob!

  • i live in Kalamazoo, i remember when the siren went off, i odnt know if t was this exact storm but, it was in september, and then the news was talking about how a tornadoe touched down in paw paw or somewhere...

  • This tornado was the same one that hit Paw Paw

    and passed over Kalamazoo.

  • i've lived in michigan all my life in dearborn and i've never been in a tornado.

right now we have a watch for a tornado so i decided this would be intereting.

  • Great job! You never get to see a video of a tornado in Michigan.

  • i hade a football game when those came those storms came thru but i rember the new talking about some strom in like paw paw or somethign around their

  • Wow , i had one about two weeks ago that was only a mile away when all the power went out. yeah thats pretty scary , the news was just talking about how we have been getting hit with tornadoes.

  • I've never seen a tornado in michigan (I live in Muskegon,MI) before this

  • I live in metro detroit

  • Tornadoes are NOT rare in Michigan. Why else would Michigan have Tornado Sirens?

  • Are you Napoleon Dynamite?

  • NICE catch :)

  • WOW! that was some pretty awesome video!

  • oh that one..... my dad was playing world of warcraft and my little sister and a freind were over we saw the warning on tv, my freind ,sister and I got the dogs and fled downstairs and my dad was still upstairs playing world of warcraft cuz he was doing zul aman and while we (exept my dad) were downstairs in the old playroom he wanted to play gamecube and my little sister was crying
