I'd rather just believe this is a real moment—kids get up to the mic all the time at Comic Con, and it doesn't seem all that far-fetched that a kid would ask this. As to why they had the comic book handy, I don't find it so strange that there happened to be a Green Lantern comic at the Green Lantern panel at the biggest comic event of the year. . . but then again the kid does look at his hand before finishing the question—could just be a shy-kid thing or he could be reading the question.

@RengawOO, the people who don't know that they are doing are the ones who originally configured your computer. I just finished watching this video on my Windows 7 laptop. Simply install the Adobe Flash player, and you will be all set. If that proves to be too difficult, I'm sure that one of your friends who is a bit more computer literate can help.

@Run5k1356 Thanks genius but this laptop has worked fine with all UTube an other video sources for awhile now, only this video today gave the error to download a Adobe update which indicated was having trouble with 64bit player mode, no updates were availible, now tonight same video runs fine yet I've done nothing to update since earlier today. My Qosimo laptop came pre-configured with Win7 an automatically updated everything since new last Dec.09., As for Computer literate, user since 1978.

@RengawOO No offense, but my wife has been a "car user" since 1978. That doesn't mean that she is a good driver!

On the other hand, I have actually worked within the computer industry for almost 30 years and in my experience when a "user" goes on a profanity-laden rant about a problem, the vast majority of the time it's unjustified. That appears to be the case here, too.

How's this staged? The kid didn't even ask for him to say the oath. He asked how it felt like to say it. Ryan just took the opportunity to say it for him. It's also probably the easiest and most effective way to answer the question. Why explain something when you can just do it on the spot?

Ryan really nailed the oath perfect. I was kinda nervous when he was first announced to be playing the role based on his past of doing comedy along with his humor. So far, I'm 100% supporting him now based on the serious tone of saying the oath. I wish next year was here now!!  :)

And green lantern is my second favorite hero but Cap and Thor was enough to take on but the whole Avenger's crew is another thing. @batman93oo I don't see a defeat... in the last 2/3 months Marvel Studios showed they are not so competitive as they want to appear: Iron Man 2 wasn't as good as the first one (actually the first time in comic book movies a sequel is not higher than the first chapter), then they fired 2 actors (they replaced goddamn ED NORTON!!) ruining what they called "cinematic crossover universe"; then we are seeing the costumes for the Thor movie.. and they seem made with "plastic"!

It has a good cast,they showed us the costume which is really damn amazing!In 2011 Green Lantern comes out and it can really kick ass,then one year later DC will release Batman 3 and the new Superman (under the guide of mr. Christopher Nolan).I still don't see Marvel's victory.
