if you get the windows 7 starter edition, can you choose to keep the xp mode on instead of having the 7 on. I am going to purchase a netbook and it will have 7, I like windows xp, so will it then eliminate the windows 7?
To be honest, i'm going to wait until somebody does a 100% full and honest review of windows 7, seemingly because most would say it's a repackaged Vista Ultimate with allot of fixes and more freedom.
It's still costly and system demanding, wonder when the hackers and/or pirates will release it, cracked, registered and all freedom's from XP reinstated, maybe have the XP virtual machine installed by default OR as an optional addon during the final part of the installation.
I couldn't say. I can say, however, that the RC candidates that were available via the torrent sites, before Microsoft officially released them, were full of viruses.
Completly true OriginalRoot : Usually does put virus like this are some big company like the challenger company of Microsoft or Microsoft him self to screw down torrent , hacker and other to touch their product .
But i had the Windows 7 latest RC and there is no virus or trojan at that time .
@sattanhellsing Did you take gibberish as a second language in school? You're really good, because i have no idea what the fuck you are talking about.
I was wondering if Boot Camp would allow Windows 7 to boot, clearly it does. In this video are you running Windows 7 via Boot Camp, or are you using Paralells/Fusion?
XP will draw off of your current graphics configuration, along with the rest of your hardware (USB, Optical drive, etc). so I think it can. You could try it. Note the RAM size though.
I don't know what my school is going to do when Windows 2000 isn't supported anymore, they have a very old system too.

You have to download it from Microsoft's website, then set it up. It's all automatic.

That was a shame, many got hoaxed.
The honest pirates and hackers wouldn't do such a thing, they'd customize and share their work with the world :)

CCleaner has it's own registry cleaner, it's free.

I've heard of the XP virtual machine, lifehacker linked it up on twitter.
I hope mine is compatible with windows 7, it sucks that it's not geared to home users like windows XP was.
