Peter, I'd say it's a close call between the sounds and the "ground effects" (as measured on the Richter Scale) of those cars! Sitting on the grass uphill from Turn 5, though, was certainly my favorite spot, when I used to go up there!
I love the sounds of Can Am "Big Block V8" Chevy engines, even the small block engines, for that matter just any Can Am racecar. Brings back great memories of Road Atlanta Can Am Races from 1970-1973.

My favorite place to see Champ Cars is that trail up from turn 5! Road America is THE best track in all of North America.
