Why would she not upload the video? Obviously, by recording on someone elses phone, they revealed their trick. They didn't tell her to not spread it around, just to not watch it until after the show's over. Selfish keeping it to yourself.

It`s doable without actresses. Here`s what I think happened:

At 5:50 they hear the ringtone. At 7:44 Teller slips the phone in his pocket after catching it in the bucket.

They had a wireless speaker in the box from the start of the show. By 8:33 somebody offstage has had time (2-3 minutes) to set up the box`s speaker to play the ringtone.

Sometime between 9:20 and 10:00 (probably when he walks behind Penn) Teller slipped the iphone inside the fish from the bottom.

@RaymondCorrigan Actually, I take part of that back. A wireless speaker wouldn't be impossible to time, but just too darn risky. I'd say it's actually the phone making the noise inside the fish inside the box all the time, cause if not you'd risk having to fake a crazy ringtone that no one had ever heard before. And you couldn't play it from the phone, because then people would also hear where the phone actually is. Better just sneak the phone in there and let it make the noise itself ;)

@181Cade I was thinking the same about the elton switch, but I don't think the girl was in on it. They had another old iphone. They just had to pick someone who was holding up an old iphone. (standard ringtones.) Penn switched the phones when he put his hand behind elton. Then Elton and phone taken away. How it then ended up in the fish, in the box (if that is what actually happened) I don't know.

So they basically got the phone into the back, either on the back or the cut out... or more obviously through the bucket. Then a guy backstage puts it in the bag and attaches it to the trolley that Teller brings out. The fish then has a place where Teller can slip the phone(?) God knows he can do slight of hand, so not as impossible as transporting it into the crowd... this might explain the guts already coming out when he lifts it up?

Why is everyone so interested in seeing the video from her phone....... this was an easy trick to figure out. We all know how he got her phone from the cup. They obviously had a speaker in the box where they transmitted the sound of the ringing phone to.... and finally, it was simple slight of hand that teller did to pretend to take the mobile out of the fish. God knows he had possession of it long enough to do it. I also loved how Penn kept saying 'cell phone' instead of 'mobile'...Classic!
