in my dalek anatomy in ym dalek book the hemispheres are sensors used to detect movement like a radar

I got one of these for my Birthday, and my friend has one to. Both of the Dalek Figure's eye stalk fell out. It is quite a shame really!

Why didn't you just take back the figure and get a new one. As long as you had the recite and it was before the number of days you couldn't take it back you would of been fine.

In the classics, the spheres were sensor devices.

I was never big on the idea of them being for auto destruct mechanisms.

I had the same problem with the eyestalk on the "Death to the Daleks" model. Generally, I don't touch any of the rods as there's no telling how delicate they are!

What I do if the eye keeps falling out is I push the 2 ends that attach it in the head closer together then it usually clicks into place.
