  • @money4idiotz Have you read Steve Batchelor's recent book, "Confessions of a Buddhist Atheist?" Just about anything he writes is worthwhile.

  • @money4idiotz Khuddaka Nikaya: "There is, O monks, an Unborn, Unoriginated, Uncreated, Unformed. Were there not, O monks, this Unborn, Unoriginated, Uncreated, Unformed, there would be no escape from the world of the born, originated, created, formed. Since, O monks, there is an Unborn, Unoriginated, Uncreated, Unformed, therefore is there an escape from the born, originated, created, formed. What is dependant, that also moves; what is independent does not move" (Udana 8:3)Sounds like God 2 me!

  • @BAchoHAl One thing that stands out about the Buddha was his aversion to speculation. Whether God exists or not was for him, a question that shouldn't detain us, because it has nothing to do with the business of finding release from suffering. Often, when someone put a question to the Buddha that called for a speculative answer, he simply refused to answer, one way or the other.

  • I don't know much about Buddhism. I want to know more. But I do know that in Thai Ajahn means teacher. So, what I would like to know, is is "Ajahn" a Buddhist title? Or is it only a Thai thing? Or is it none of the above and just an extreme coincidence?

  • @paraplegicgiraffe The term "ajaan" (อาจารย์) is used in Thailand to refer to a teacher at an advanced level, such as a university professor. It is also used to refer to monks who teach Buddhism, including meditation. In Thailand, teachers are treated with great respect, even reverence. If you want to learn more about Buddhism, I would recommend listening to some of the Dhamma talks on U-Tube. Ajaan Brahm is a good place to start, but there are many others.

  • A closed mind will see what it chooses to see. An open mind will see the truth.

If one keeps their mind closed they will become ignorant and become a fool.

If one keeps an open mind they will become knowledgeable and wise.

Keep an open mind for all things, as it helps to nourish the mind just like water and the sun nourish a plant. A closed mind will hurt the mind, body and the soul. Keep an open mind and you will find your life will be much better.

Have peace and love on all your journeys

  • @GetWithZen Truth? What Truth?

  • @ZeroDantemL The truth of all things. It is the truth we see when we look past all the clutter and confusion of the world and see it is quite simple and peaceful.

There is a truth of everything, and a personal truth. A truth of everything can be taught, but a personal truth can only be found by one self. But the personal truth and truth of everything are connected, always.

If you let your mind be open, you will find them both.

May you have peace my friend.

  • they both have no gods the only difference is atheism is driven by rejection of previous religion and buddhism is driven by love etc

  • 30:00 about forgiveness of yourself leading to forgiveness of others. So good :)

  • සාදු සාදු සාදු

I am a Buddhist and I do not believe in birth after physical death and I believe that the mind is the product of the brain.

Most important thing for me in Buddhism is the 4 noble truths, Anitta Dukka and anata. Kalami sutta.

  • this video helped me a lot! I don't follow the creator god (I'm a Humanist practicing Secular Buddhism), but this philosophy was straight to the point, especially starting from 26:01. Thank u for this speech.

  • 7:40 So wait, there's a story about Buddha going to heaven and telling god he isn't god but just forgot others who came before him?! That is a badass character deserving of my worship! lol Anyone with the balls to propose a philosophical paradox to a deity earns my respect.

  • 14 dislikes r the closed minded people :)

  • Buddhism does believe in God[s], but not the same way as the Muslim, Christianity, Judaism, ect... believe.

Muslim, Christianity, Judaism ect.. believe that there is 1 mighty all powerful god & god is the answer of happiness, the savior, the creator & our salvation. Buddhism believes there r many Gods & the God[s] is not the answer of our real happiness, not our savior, creator or our salvation because they still in the Wheel of Reincarnation like us, so they cannot save us. U r ur own Savior!

  • @TheDoom13 no they don't same beliefs as atheists the God they believe in isn't a being its kinda like that higs boson particle which scientists are finding but even the "god" that they believe in isn't immortal it lats only for billions of years but seems to have unlimited power till then

  • Go Buddhism!

  • I have a question. Ajahn states that those who are atheists (i.e. don't believe in an omnipotent, omniscient and omni-benevolent god), are following the path towards Nirvana and therefore a greater sense of being. If this is the case, why become a Buddhist in the first place and not just stay an outright atheist like Dawkins?

  • @dansimmons21 I have an answer.

Atheism is the rejection of a certain delusion - and that's fine as far as it goes.

Its not a philosophy - it doesn't tell you how to find a positive path to enlightenment.

  • Respond to this video... I like the Buddha very much after reading about buddhism I have found some the teachings very helpful in may everyday life.Learning not to make my life miserable chasing after material things has mellowed out my life considerably.First get what you need.

  • Buddha would starve him self? He did once and saw it was a alter state brought on of hunger not godly aspics once he realize he ate to keep healthy. The fat Buddha is a symble of it. The Chinese Buddhist statute has more in it I think he a sysmble of a branch of Buddhist that came from china

  • i like how they say there is no proof of Jesus, lol. But if you look out there, there are dozens of books depicting Christ. I'll give a hint; Josephus.

  • Universe is God. Universe is no-God.

  • I would describe myself as an athiest looking into Buddhism. Ajahn Brahm is such a wonderful speaker and moral philosopher

  • Can the Human Being Budhism help?, I invite you to know the truth. check my Channel.

  • I am an athiest and the reason I don't believe in any religion is because of hipocrocy and buddhism takes the cake

  • @sjm8890 Care to elaborate?

  • @petestrat07 what I mean is, how can a guy who weighs over 600 pounds have the balls to teach people about self discipline

  • @sjm8890 Buddha used to starve himself until we was just skin and bone in order to achieve an altered state of consciousness when he meditated. It nearly killed him but he learned that he could not learn if he died. That's quite a lot of self disipline.

  • @sjm8890 Not Buddha. He's a different character of Chinese origins.

  • @sjm8890 completely wrong brother. that was not buddha. Gautama Buddha look him up and don't make ridiculous assumptions if you do not know anything about it.

  • @PullOutYourGuns if that is not him, why is it in every monestary i've visited

  • @sjm8890 look up Budai. thats him and he is usually there as a symbol for contentment, luck, etc. i myself am an atheist to gods but follow the teachings of the buddha.

  • @sjm8890

    You're a fool

  • @MrGunwitch any man who bases his opinion without facts is a fool but I base my opinion on my experiences in life, and the experience is I have visited several monistarys and each one only had the statue of the fat one

  • Comment removed

  • @MrGunwitch and it is fact I am talking to a 35 year old tool

  • @sjm8890

    Definitely option 3

  • @MrGunwitch I am not 9 or retarded, I am a harvard psychology student and I used youtube as part of my report, the report was to see how people would respond to a troll and you have given me good insite on how a person react, and if I ever find you I will rip arms off, beat you with one of them, and shove the other down your throat because for a job I work with mentally disabled children and you used the forbidden word

  • @sjm8890

Ok Harvard (note capital), lets clear up some basic spelling and punctuation errors before we continue:

    1) Insight is not spelt 'insite'

    2) On how a person reacts, not 'on how a person react'

    3) I will rip your arms off, not 'I will rip arms off...'

4)Because I work for a job, not 'because for a job I work'

Now that we have proven without doubt that you are a retarded 9 yr old, please avail yourself of some suitable medication and treatment.

    Retard.

  • @MrGunwitch I had no control over what I said in my last comment, I was under the influence of a powerful sleeping pill, so anyway I am a pyshology student writing a report on how a person would react to a troll, and I must admit it was fun reading your responses and now I have what I need to finish my report

  • @sjm8890

Forget sleeping pills, what you need is a healthy dose of Chlorpromazine (Thorazine) or Haloperidol (Haldol).

I suggest you go visit your local mental health professional asap.

  • @MrGunwitch I am not crazy

  • @sjm8890 I am not 9 nor* retarded

  • @kurbo2 Canada is useful only to provide me with furs

  • @sjm8890 lol that's funny

  • @sjm8890 wee-tards.

  • fuck you thai mongoloid whore admirer

  • @DOYDARK fuck you retard troll

  • @roxyosox122 angry christen

  • i went to the vibes a few weeks ago, which in itself was a life-changing experience. keep in mind i smoked a lot of weed and had two tabs to my name

i saw a buddhist section far from the main stage, all meditating. I read and practice buddhism alot, i sat down with them. i gained this incredible state of mind, that the acid i took disappeared and this whole new experience took play. i can't explain it, but man did it help my views

  • What is that many people don't seem to understand is that atheism simply means the belief that there are no deities. No gods with persons, names and ancient laws that must be followed. Atheism doesn't mean that the person can't believe to supernatural, power of meditation etc.

  • @Zdem0Z You could not be more incorrect. Atheism is the LACK OF BELIEF in gods. Not the belief there are no gods. There is a huge difference.

  • @MickScarborough

That's what i was after but said it kinda wrong

  • @Zdem0Z It's probably more accurate to describe Buddhism as non-theistic, rather than atheistic. The latter term in actual usage tends to be pejorative, and draws people into the kind of speculative controversies that the Buddha thought a waste of time.

  • Good stuff

  • What he said about the person who fell asleep really touched me for some reason, being safe and secure and how important it is. Amazing!

  • @DiabloTheGames Worship statues? LOL! The Buddhist do not worship anything. Learn about Buddhism before you make a foolish statement like yours.

  • @DiabloTheGames You believe in something that doesn't exist and you know why I can confidently say it doesn't? because there have been hundreds of fucking years for your shitty religion to get some real fucking evidence; oh guess fucking what! there is none,

  • Isn't this conception of mind, as mentioned in the first few minutes of the video, atman, in a sense?

  • great video

  • AB must be tired at the end of the talk or is he testing our attention span: 'it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle.........' not 'harder' 56:20

  • And if you're into real politics: I'm not talking about appeasement, but acting out of a position of true confidence. Then you don't need arrogance or offensiveness in a conflict.

  • Freedom is demanding, science is demanding, meditation is demanding, our life is demanding. But anyone wants to be happy and be free from suffering. We're not better, we're not worse than christians or muslims. We're human beings. At least since the last time I looked!... ;-) "Be free of fear and trust in the potential of the other person to be good and see truth clearly." I think that would be a nice principle. Especially remembering the revolutions in the arab world right now.

  • social conditiong, i.e. fundamentalist schools of any religion. But, let's be honest, aren't we as westerners also conditioned? - Without levelling anything? What I do appreciate about buddhism is, that it IS different from fundamentalism. That it does encourage tolerance, open mindednes and unconditional love and forgiveness to any living creature, no less to christians and muslims. So arrogance can become a problem as a buddhist and as Ajahn Brahm said, it keeps you from truth.

  • As true as it may be that "sending you to hell" or decapitating you for the only crime of having a different perspective on reality, it is quite clear that Ajahn Brahm, the Buddha and reason itself teach that we can never achieve a transformation in anyone by shouting back at them. Sure we can kill them and take revenge, but we can't change their heart nor mind. It is also true that a lot of people are kept from their ability of discovering reality and going on their quest for truth by

  • Even though I agree with the statements Ajahn Brahm teaches in this video, even though I came to them as a conclusion through my own experiences, I don't encourage an offensive form of new atheism that, especially out of the issues with evangelicals, begins to copy their methods and starts to treat Christians and Muslims as a category. Because this is untrue to the person and truth itself. If we're serious about the way we go, we should stay true to loving kindness and not exclude anyone.

  • Reading through the comments of this video, I have a request concerning tolerance. Please understand that life can be very cruel and become a bottomless pit of darkness - life is suffering as you know as a buddhist - and there is an immense demand of consolation today. I know terrible things written in the holy bible and the Qur'an, I've been a Christian myself and struggled for many. Certainly not all of the theists are war-mongering, intolerant condemners who guarantee you hellfire on doomsday

  • It's also wonderful that Buddhism doesn't try to "recruit" people into the belief. You're either receptive, or you're not. No forcing, no guilt, no threats of eternal damnation. Just love, peace, acceptance, and compassion. Such positivity. Very appealing to me.

  • @JohnnyFoster I agree with you. But it is the reason why they are in danger in some places by the threat from others religions

  • @JohnnyFoster Far Eastern Buddhism and Mahayana Buddhism, and most recently Tibetan Buddhism, are increasingly about recruitment, evangelism and corporate ventures.

  • @gingertom84 Over time, buddhism was divided into two sections: Theravada and Mahayana Buddhism. Theravada buddhism is what is claimed to be: the pure and original teachings of Lord Buddha, while Mahayana is a bit of a modified version. My country: Sri Lanka, follows Theravada buddhism. If you want to see the real state of buddhism, you dont go to the most famous of temples. You go to the countryside, the more remote areas, where it is being practiced in a better, worthier way.

  • @JohnnyFoster

yea this is as loving and respectfull as alot of christians cliam christianty to be

  • @JohnnyFoster I emailed a temple asking to find out more and they invited me round for a talk one evening. One of the first things the monk told me was that in Buddhism you never have to believe anything that isn't true, and you never have to believe anything anyone tells you, even if that person is a Buddhist monk.

  • @kyral210 Correct. Sounds like a good temple.

  • @JohnnyFoster MANY religions like Buddhism don't recruit people. There are actually only a couple that DOES recruit.

  • @JohnnyFoster That's why I choose this path :). This something beautiful in there that wanted me to become a part of it.

  • I think it's great that Ajahn calmly explains his thoughts and Buddhist doctrine, without proclaiming to all that if you don't believe what he says, that you're wrong. It seems that every other religion I've encountered demands that you believe what they say, or they assume you're "against" them, and therefore are going to hell. The peaceful, intelligent, unassuming attitude of Buddhism is very civilized, very loving, and very decent.

  • Thank you for the good talk Ajahn Brahm

  • For every spiritual person regardless if atheist or godbeliever I recommened to take a look at zen. It is the middle way without direction. It is between god and no god. It is the home for everyone. You will always win with zen, because it takes the most unnecessary away. If you believe in god it makes you maybe a better believer and if you scientist it makes you maybe a better scientist. :D

    Zen increases by decreasing

  • @jomushin7 i like the idea of non conflict and just cause u have opposeing views as long as they dont lead one to hell then u can agree to disagree and not become attached to either noitions, peace and love.

  • @jomushin7 Can you be a Zen Buddhist without believing in Karma or rebirth?

  • @MrFrost227 Yes, you sure can.

  • @rawmark Interesting... I mean I know that anyone can practice Zazen. But for nearly a decade I have avoided visiting a Zendo, because I felt sure that they would harangue me about silly dogma. I am very curious about this. Even though I am an atheist, I seem to sense that there is is some truth to awakening. There's something to it. Something very real

  • @MrFrost227 Look up books by Stephen Batchelor. He has two but Confessions of A Buddhist Atheist is his best to date. Both are excellent and were writted from a former monk's perspective.

  • @MrFrost227 It depends on how you define a Zen Buddhist. I belong to a zen group and do zazen in zendo, but wouldn't say that I believe in karma or rebirth. From the other point of view, I'm not arguing that they don't exist. I simply don't know, so I guess I'm kind of an agnostic regarding to these things. I don't see this as a problem. Doing zazen doesn't require any particular world view or belief in buddhist dogmas. The most important in zen buddhism is simply practicing zazen.

  • @VisualShredmaster Fantastic. I thank you for your input!! This is very encouraging!

  • @MrFrost227 Actually, I once talked about the rebirth-subject with one of the instructors in our zendo. The instructor's opinion also was that I can practice zazen perfectly well without believing in rebirth, and he even told that to me that I should keep this "I don't know" -attitude. The only "dogma" I pretty much believe in, is that zazen can lead to a some kind of self realization, because there are living and perfectly sane people talking about their awakening experiences.

  • @VisualShredmaster I believe in that too! Personally I wouldn't call that dogma. One of things that brought me to wondering about it was reading things people have said about Awakening. I didn't hear one word of metaphysical BS. Instead there was this sense of facing up to something that is simple and yet profound and tranformative. But try to tell that to hateful atheists... On FB I tried to tell them that Zen was somewhat un-dogmatic, and I got flamed and ousted

  • @MrFrost227 Hehe:D I've heard similar experiences from a guy who also practices zazen in the same zen group that I do. He sees himself as an atheist, but when he tried to talk about zen to other atheists at some internet forums, he also got flamed and ousted :P

  • IMHO I think both theists and atheists (or at least Western atheists) wouldn't be able to carry out the Buddha's teachings to Arhathood. Theists see reality as ultimately controlled by a being or force which is an uncaused mover. Obviously this is incompatible with Buddhist cosmology and ontology.

Western atheists tend to be materialists who believe mind is a creation of matter and generally do not believe in life after death. This too is incompatible with Buddhist cosmology and metaphysics.

  • @A86 depends on what ur preception or concept of what god is or isnt.

  • peace and love may we all love each other and rid ourselfs of evil views that will lead us to a hell in this life and the next.may we all be at peace and love each other no matter what faith we have may we also defend the small purity left in this planet and never let men maintain evil views without at least trying to show them love and right from wrong deeds.

  • @kingdomheart4ever 1+1=2. 2+2=4. hence 1+1+1+1 = 2+2 = 4. Natural selection is a fact (is proven). Mutants do occur (like cancer is mutant, and is proven). Natural selection is a fact, mutants do occur = evolution is a fact. Get it?? May be was I doing too smart?? Um, 1+1+1+1 = 4 guys?

  • @DecaSonic Yes you're right. But you dont have an example of evolution. Evolution is fake. Natural selection isnt because we created that. Its obvious its truth. Mutation maybe. Or maybe cancer is just a SICKNESS? not mutation. You never know. Please dont talk to me anymore. I want peace.

  • @kingdomheart4ever God is such a weakling he had to sacrifice his own son (or himself or whatever) to get rid of sins. Umm, HELLO? I thought he was meant to be able to do anything he pleases?? WHY did he have to waste so much time and effort to do such a small thing? Not to mention him needing to take a day off after making this tiny tiny planet of earth? Oh, speaking of earth, Look back, there's a guy called "Galileo Galilei" who died speaking of truth. YOU GUYS DENIED IT - WITH BIBLE. Uh-huh

  • @DecaSonic Science also denied it. WITH SCIENCE. God knows what he does. Just like your father knows why he takes rests and takes a long time to protect you. Because of you. You want it to be like that. God knows everything. I dont think Jesus would of been a sacrifice if he came before sacrifices existed.

  • AMAZING!!!

  • Please consider studying the use of money in the society. Compare precious metals to paper created by bankers/government and how this affects peace in the society. I love your words. Thank you very much.

  • Great quote to summarise the message of this speech, for the second half mainly.

you have good people doing good things and evil people doing bad things, but for good people to do bad things, it takes religion.

  • 16:05 to 17:25 brought a tear to my eyes,

  • mu

  • IM atheist. I was a buddhist. When i say buddhist I was acutally a monk. I stop believing in faith and religion. It just doesnt work for me...

  • If you study the words of Buddha and Christ you will see they are talking about the same thing really. Universal humility and kindness, and the release from material possessions.

  • My cousin, a mathematician with an interest in Physics, confirmed that the "Serial Universe" idea is one speculation of physicists, as is the idea of Parallel Universe. Taking literally the idea of "mind" creating the universe, could it not be that our deeply held beliefs, rather than what we claim to believe, actually do create our Universes, in the same way that our hands mold clay? Heisenberg affirmed the influence of the observer- perhaps speculation similarly molds reality.

  • I like pancakes.

  • So basically God is just excluded from the way of Buddhism. Not to be concerned about whether there is a supreme being. Buddhism is mainly concerned about the suffering world, the ever changing world, and has no interest or suggestion of a higher being above.

  • ajahn brahm know nothing about buddhism, he is clearly ignorant think buddhism is atheistic religion.

he looks like not read any words from pali tipitaka

  • I AM THE BUDDHA!

i have seen the reason of many suffering today.

  • Do any of you people realize how ridiculous your comments sound?

  • I just realized I'd been watching this video for almost an hour :O time flew by listening to him.

  • For anyone who desires the truth, I would highly recommend checking out the scribd website that is listed on my channel.

  • Good talk. I love that he gave this on my birthday and I am an atheist who really respects Buddhism. :)

  • As an atheist, I have great respect for Buddhism (most schools anyway). The Buddhist emphasis on compassion, wisdom and virtue are very noble indeed. I found this talk very interesting and agreeable. Much love to all Buddhists out there!!!

  • this is a good video and you know christianaty ruled the world once it is called the dark ages. Crusades black plague inqisition. Fear and terror. Buddhism done nothing like that. They say everybody who dont follow them will burn in hell forever. But they blessed those who went to the holy war. Killing those who believe in someone else. Buddhism done more love mercy and peace. Its the religion of the future.

  • Wow...PEOPLE! Uknow the Buddha urged mankind to have respect for all religions inspite of the differences and differing opinions between them. Buddhism no way has any intention of condescending other religions...to start with buddhism is not even a religion..ITS A PHILOSPHY! So why the religious controversy? I respect all religions! Btw thanks for the video! :)

  • It's inappropriate for Christians to preach here, you don't see Buddhists harassing Christians so please do the right thing.

  • Buddism vs Atheism topic I shouldnt i even perceive If I were buddist

  • God is not the creator of big bangs, he is the creator of al cosmic manifestation generally. And remember that buddhism came from India.

  • @1nV1nC1Bl3BaLaM

If you read the Suttas you actually learn that Buddhism challenged most of the paradigms of the day. He humbles a god who thinks he's the creator of all things, he challenges the notion that birth chooses one's station (caste). Most importantly, he challenges other philosophical notions, things like the universe as: infinite/finite, eternal/non, existent/non, many/one. If you search google for Lokayatika Sutta the Buddha talks of things arising and ceasing based on conditions.

  • About God, when refering to God one must not say God(individual with plurality) created the universe because this universe is illusory and working according to a nature. One must say he really exists and God is the source of all energy that emanates from him but so not only creator but infinite source.

  • He doesn't seem very awakened. This universe is not infinite so it is created and destroyed, this is a plane of existance like many other states of existance which are not infinite. Only the soul is infinite, if you center your prioities in your eternal self and liberate from ignorance, there will be no illusory manifestation and the level of awareness will be complete because there will not be attraction towards a certain nature.

  • Watching this is comforting, from what this guy says about Buddhism, it seems the most logical of any belief system. I've argued a lot of what he says when debating Christian thought and believe that your choices are reliant on your own heart not a set of rules in an ancient text or from other fallable beings. Kindness, love, peace, etc. are not "Christian" but universal inner truths. If you take responsibility away from yourself, bad things are going to happen.

  • In terms of reason and non-ignrance

  • Anyone else think this guy would look awesome wearing a fez?

  • @Waterdreamchild Ohhh, my friend there is definite Concrete proof & evidence of GOD & JESUS CHRIST'S EXISTENCE! Just LOOK around you! Where do you think all the GOOD in the world comes from? It did not just appear out of thin air & say "HERE I AM"! GOD CREATED everything:Heaven, Earth, the Whole Universe, & you & me!We did not just appear here on Earth,GOD formed man from the dust of the ground & breathed the very breath of life into him & he became a living soul!

  • @ilililhy1 GOD also Created His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON JESUS CHRIST! JESUS was brutally beaten as the Soldiersnailed Him to the Cross(For they did not believe He was the SON OF GOD)! Little did they know that this very man, was the same man that was going to shed His BLOOD for the SINS OF THE World, He did it for yours & mine! All you have to do is ask JESUS To Come into your Heart & ask Him for forgiveness of your sins! GOD Gives Salvation for Everlasting Life, IT'S FREE TAKE IT! TIME IS SHORT

  • @Waterdreamchild Everything that is LOVE comes from ABOVE-----GOD & JESUS!

  • SATAN is where all the sin, pain & suffering in this world comes from, not GOD or JESUS! Does everyone here know JESUS CHRIST as their Lord & Saviour? JESUS CHRIST was brutally beaten & nailed to the Cross by Soldiers,& HE died on the Cross for the(pain, suffering)sins of the world, for your sins & mine! GOD loves us so much He gives US SALVATION,so that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have Everlasting Life! All we have to do is ask JESUS to come into our hearts & repent of our sins!

  • @ilililhy1 Your life sucks, yes, but don't project them onto a devil.

  • I happen to be atheist and I can't really say I believe in past lives, but I do believe that meditation is an amazing tool that everyone should learn to implement. Out of any religion Buddhism seems the most credible and Buddhist people seem to be quite intelligent. It's something I'm researching further and maybe implement certain ideals into my own life.

  • @MikesSweetchy Do you know about afterlife?

  • @Waterdreamchild Reason why Buddha believeed in God because he believed there are demi gods its that simple. What don't you understand?

  • @Sunray2live You're confusing 'gods' (heavenly beings) with 'God' (a being believed to be the creator). Buddhism has NO 'God' at all and the 'gods' are also subject to death and rebirth...

  • @kusalaviro your confusing 'God' (a being believed to be the creator) as the supreme. The supreme is the mood of enlightment. Even Buddha mentioned demi Gods so if there are demi Gods there is.... Enlightment.

  • @Sunray2live demi gods and enlightenment are not even remotely related! Gods, according to Buddhist understanding, also die just like us and can be reborn in any of the other realms.

  • @kusalaviro l did not say demi gods and enlightment is related. l was talking about the "duality" between demi god and Enlightment (Supreme).

  • @Sunray2live There's no 'duality' either. It's like the duality between enlightenment and a cheese sandwich.

  • @kusalaviro Your off the point. Demi gods are the opposite to Enlightment because they suffer.

  • @ilililhy1 You don't actually know that any of that is a fact so don't claim it as so. Your crap god is an asshole who dishes out unjust punishments to people who use their brains. Go fuck yourself...

  • @kusalaviro Yes, my friend, GOD is real, there is ONLY ONE GOD with ONLY ONE BEGOTTEN SON, & that is JESUS CHRIST! GOD hates sin & HE HATES FALSE WORSHIP,THOU SHALT WORSHIP THY GOD & HIM ONLY SHALT THOU SERVE! The GOOD NEWS is that GOD loves us so much that HE gave HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON that whosoever believeth in HIM SHALL NOT PERISH but have EVERLASTING LIFE! GOD GIVES US SALVATION AS A FREE GIFT! Listen, My friend BEWARE OF SATAN'S DEVICES(Satan goes to & fro seeking whom he may devour)!

  • @kusalaviro There is an afterlife! Do you believe in JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR LORD & SAVIOUR? He shed HIS BLOOD on the CROSS for the sins of all mankind,my sins & yours! GOD Loves you so much He sent HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON that whosoever believeth in HIM SHALL NOT PERISH but have EVERLASTING LIFE! JESUS is Our ONLY SALVATION & OUR ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN! SALVATION IS A FREE GIFT Given to us by GOD! ALL u have to do is accept JESUS into your Heart & repent of your sins! IT IS FREE! Time is short!

  • @ilililhy1 Brainwashed!

  • @kusalaviro Woe, Satan has definitely got you deceived,my friend! Don't you understand that Satan is out to steal your soul? Listen, GOD loves you so much that he offers the FREE GIFT OF SALVATION so that your soul doesn't wind up in ETERNAL DAMNATION! Do you know that Jesus loves you & he cares about your soul? Jesus Christ paid the PRICE of our sins on the Cross! All you have to do is ask Jesus Christ to come into ur heart & ask HIM for forgiveness of ur sin! Do you Jesus as ur Lord & Savior?

  • @ilililhy1 If you were joking this would be funny but as I guess you're not, it's just sad...

  • @kusalaviro SATAN IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, I COMMAND YOU TO SET FREE, ALL THESE PEOPLE YOU HAVE LIED TO AND DECIEVED,I TAKE ALL AUTHORITY OVER YOU SATAN IN JESUS NAME, AMEN,THANK YOU JESUS FOR ANSWERING THIS PRAYER.I believe lives will be changed in Jesus Name.Praise God,you get all the Glory

  • @ilililhy1 Now this is REAL comedy!!! Are you a certified nut job or what? Let go of your bronze-age desert myth and embrace reality...

  • @kusalaviro JESUS CHRIST IS THE SAME YESTERDAY,TODAY AND FOREVER, HE NEVER CHANGES.(AND O BY THE WAY,I HAVE WORKED AS A CORRECTIONAL OFFICER IN A MAX PRISON.LEVEL 5 . THE PRISONS ARE FULL OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN DECEIVED BY SATAN.Locked away 23 hours a day in some cell housing units, some still worship their false Gods. SAD BUT TRUE.

  • @ilililhy1 You can't prove that jesus ever even existed! The only reference to him is in the bible. A little strange don't you think? 'God' in the flesh walking on earth and no one of that time thought it was worth writing about. Even the first bible account was written well after he was dead. NOT the most reliable evidence...

  • @kusalaviro Actually Yeshua (there never was a "Jesus", it was a mistranslation) was referenced in the Qu'Ran, the Dead Sea Scrolls (missing pieces of ancient text meant to be in the Bible), and some works of Asian scripture (see "Jesus in Kashmere"). There's no doubting that Yeshua existed at SOME point, but there's plenty of doubt in terms of his divinity. Did he exist? Ancient texts and historians say yes. Was he really THE son of God? My studies lead me to say absolutely not.
