  • Amen wisdom521

  • We need to bring back this kind of singing with the anointing and the holy ghost working to break yokes... This anointing is what is missing today in our churches... Gene martin and AAA ministries lives were changed... God knows we need this in our churches today... Anointing and power... Lives were changed... People lived what they sang about... Not to sure about today.. Amen,

  • God can ant thing

  • @drrusa please upload the 9 min version of this song.

  • I love his voice....and he's not bad looking either.

  • Oh yes, Ill testiy to this....Hes does specialize in the impossible, great song by a wonderful man! Praise God

  • WONDERFUL! AN AMAZING SINGER!

  • OMG... I'm going to need more space on my hard drive... I thank God for this. although i can't sing not one note, i'll sing this at home. lol Bless you much for this.

  • Beyond the Veil Ministies is having a throw back annointed service with a great man of God Gene Martin Wednesday October 6th 2010 Come be blessed, and those that don't remember him tell your older relatives and then for the young , come see where the churches of today got their style. 5500 W. 99th Street Oaklawn, IL.

  • BRO. GENE MARTIN IS THE REAL DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE BEEN HONORED TO KNOW HIM MANY YEARS. I MET HIM AS A YOUNG LADY AT THE PILLAR OF TRUTH CHURCH IN DAYTON, OHIO. MY CHILDREN AND NOW GRANDCHILDREN LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING BRO GENE EVERY YEAR. HE STILL TRAVELS ALL OVER THE USA AND STILL PREACHES AND SINGS UNDER THE ANNOINTING! IF YOU LIVE IN OR AROUND THE DAYTON, OHIO AREA COME SEE HIM . I HAVE PUT THE DATES ON GENE MARTIN'S FB. GOD BLESS!

  • @drrusa:

    Thanks for what you've done...

  • Wow, you really have some issues.....I don't know what has happened in your life to make you so hateful and bitter, but I hope you will find some joy in your life one day.

I will always follow my Lord and Savior Jesus, and no devil in hell will ever stop me. Instead of shoving it, I will take THE TRUTH and walk in it every day!

    God Bless

  • I grew up listening to Gene Martin and I was always amazed at how the organist stayed up with him. Thats the power of the Holy Ghost!

  • I'm sorry, when I go to church i want to be with my people, I know it's maybe wrong it's just that one day of the week, when I just want to be alone with my own kind.

I wouldn't go to this kind of Church, but God bless those who can and do..

  • @HerbertReid Do you think you'll be alone with your own kind in heaven?

  • i respect your feelings , you respect mine, and heaven will take care of itself...

  • @HerbertReid The truth will make you free!

  • Is Christ divided? Above respecting feelings is respect for what the Word of God teaches. Seriously, if you are a follower of Jesus Christ, ditch this mentality quickly.

  • I watch Gene Martin whenever I can - Pastor Allen set up a wonderful model for the modern church. My prayer is that Dr. Allen's examples of a diverse church will be built upon in these years.

  • Man, I'm watching these videos with tears in my eyes. Theses saints pleased God. They are actually singing to Him. Today we sing to entertain people with no thought of Him.

  • They were so progressive for those times!! Go head sista on the Saxophone! Wow! The anointing is strong in this song!

  • The Church needs to reach back and pull these song out and starting singing them again, they dont want to sing about the blood or salvation or trouble. they all need to go dust off those old hymm

books and let the latter rain fall

  • I am white & sing in a black choir, why not? the Lord led me. Dr. Ralph Douglas West is my pastor (The Best)

  • gosh, I want to sing in a black choir so bad......but I'm not black.........black gospel just makes me want to get up and start shuffling my feet!

  • You can do it! Pray and ask the Lord, he'll open a door for you to minister in that way. I rootin for you! Multicultural choirs are the best! It's like God's bouquet of flowers.

  • they tell me my mother use to kill this song in her day

  • Gene Martin has a nice voice...singing that God specializes in all things that seem impossible...

  • I love this song, Jehovah-Rophe is a healer!

  • sing it brother Gene!!!!!

  • His eyes are scary!

  • I sing this in Church it is a great song

  • SOUL SINGING IN THE 60"S

  • Sing, Uncle Gene....

  • i hope not, they have barriers and women preachers, hopefully the new generation will stop that...

  • Is that Goldia Haynes's daughter on saxaphone?

  • I just love this song

  • I just noticed that's Glodia Haynes sitting in the stand at 2:04.

  • that is Goldia Haynes, I recognize her distinctive "side bun" and smile anywhere! I love her!

  • I love all of Gene Martin songs.

  • I love listing to Gene Martin, as well as most of the old time Gospel music. It is nothing like the old gospel songs. My mother and I have been listening to this song and his other songs every since I found it on youtube. Believe it or not, but I know a lots of young people that would prefer these old gospel songs over this new stuff. I surfed the web for Gene Martin's songs, but it sated that they were rare. Please overlook the typo's,. I have gotta get back to my music. Thanks so much, Drrusa.

  • Im bout to get happy at 4:52 am!!!

  • the old time way will soon come back, trust me

  • sang choir!!!

  • I'm sorry he looks like Eddie Cane from the Five heartbeats movie

    He is sanging though

  • LoL

  • Oh Yes!! We do!!!...LOL

  • Imma sing diz song I love it

  • I play saxaphone and I was wondering who the lady is playing here?

  • i like this version and the e dewey smith version. dorindas is ok. it just reflects your style. this sounds like more of a 60's do wop style while pastor smith's sound more down home southerny. they both give God the glory. dont get caught up in whos annointed or not just listen to the message of the song. its the devils job to use something so little to cause a big rift in the saints. pray for 1 another and please keep me in your prayers.

  • Everyone working together to up lift God, that what missing from todays Musican and singers and choirs. We have to keep trying!!

  • oh i love it. thank you jesus!

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • I'm ashamed of my generation...They know nothing about real GOSPEL MUSIC...they think its just bamalam but its so much more to it then that

  • Thank you somebodyelse who's ashamed of their generation. See I wish i was in the old time ways i'm glad i'm not by myself

  • @Marcburn2288 Amen!!

  • @Marcburn2288 Amen!!

  • @Marcburn2288 Amen!!

  • @Marcburn2288 AMEN!!!

  • I like Dorinda's version because it's a little slower and it has more swing to it. This version's a little more "square". This song is very inspirational nonetheless.

  • Dorinda's version is weak and had no annointing. This is the holyghost right hea

  • I disagree. That version is powerful and it had alot of anointing.

  • you can disagree all you want i'm save i know the annointing dorinda aint it but this man is

  • I'm saved as well. don't get me wrong I"M not saying this man isn't anointed but Dr. Cole is anointed as well

  • noooooo shes not she just has a nice voice because of her mother thats it. i dont even know if dorinda ever been saved before.

  • I got a 9 minute audio only version of this song from about 1961 on Vinyl. If anyone wants, maybe I can upload it...without video of course. He was young, and so raw and firey in that version.

  • was this audio when he was atl and aa allen introduced saying god specializes and the music started playing and he was the second verse- HAVE U AFFLICTION

  • @drrusa HI, THIS IS MY SPIRITUAL HERITAGE THAT I WAS BROUGHT UP IN AND STILL LIVES IN ME TODAY. ARE YOU RELATED TO ANY OF THE PEOPLE IN THE A.A.ALLEN TEAM ? . MEL BOST, NC, USA

  • @drrusa thats when he's in atlanta and don stewart talks about the prophetic music off the album singing you happy. yes put that one on I like that version also. He was a teenager then right

  • @drrusa put it on please.

  • This quite moving and I'm so happy it's been posted. I'm a Baptist and we still sing like this in church. You're right this music is rarely heard now days

  • Im baptist and a piano player too.. We still sing this..Im in ALabama.... You are right.... alot of the "newer" churches dont sing this....

  • WE Sing like this in Toledo, Ohio Too Keep Ol'skoo

  • I Love the way Dorinda Clark Cole sings this one. Its a more upbeat version.

  • what? nah this is the best version out there hands down this song can't be sang in an upbeat version this version is perfect

  • to each his own opinion

  • thats why its terrible you cant up beat this song its impossible. you got to have the real holyghost to beat this because gene martin and the miracle vally choir is annointed and full of the holyghost

  • I love this song I don't care how it is sang. It still lets me know that God specializes in the impossible

  • listen in this coversation we had 2 years ago i was just trying to make my point by telling how the annointing makes a difference which gene martin n the chior has dorinda sings from what shes been taught but im glad you know god specializes

  • all i got to say to this is heaven was on earth and jesus was in the midst and the holyghost fire fell

  • LOL! One time for him turning to the choir and saying GOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDD!!! and they said GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD in harmony!!! I love it...

  • when did that happen

  • at 1:21

  • oh yea yea thats my favorite part

  • I love this song! No one sings songs like this anymore. Don't get me wrong, I love contemporary gospel but there is and will always be power in old gospel music. Thanks for sharing this!

  • Does anyone have any information about Gene Martin(Where he resides/ where he attends church?) Contact me dddawz@yahoo(Cal)

  • real gospel music !!!!!

  • Hey....

That's Rosie Haynes on that SAX.

Check her out on YOU TUBE. She is still blowing the SAX.

  • i grew up with AA Alan and used to go to the tent meeting when they came to miami,, martin was always an inspiration. its because of the meetings and the sound of the hammond organ that i became an organist, today with all the state of the art equiptment i play on, the hammond b3 still remains my favorite instument

  • this song is always lifts me up and is a blessing to me, for the sher fact that GOD Specializes in things that you think are impossible

  • WOW! These videos are great! I really miss ole time church, where the emphasis was real worship instead of putting on a show. What a difference!

  • May the Lord will soon come back and all God's children will get together Oh what a time we will have when we be singing in the heavenly choir. NOTE THIS PLEASE I made a statement about my mother, I had put down the wong year I ment she passed away 2006 of last year, but I put April 2007. Sorry It was on a different song he did.

  • LORD HAVE MERCY!!!SO UPLIFTING!!!

  • My mother is in this choir! Cool. Thanks for posting!!

  • This is cool...Im not hip to blacks & whites singing together like this in that era.. WOW...

  • i had no idea either

  • Alright now, Alright! Yes, I love this song as well. I have a couple recordings of this song...one from the Roberta Martin Singers and the other from the Mahalia Jackson (Mahalia's is arranged differently).

  • This Song Brings Back Precious Memories. It Almost Bring Tears To My Eyes. This Was One Of My Late Grandmother's Favorite Song To Sing.
