When I first heard this album in the summer of 89, I thought I was stoned. I wasn't, it just felt like an out-of-body experience. It was just so different, and still thrash as good as anything. This ballad - I loved it.

Still affects me the same way, 20(!) years later...

You are absolutely right..My 2 first records was 2 German bands : First i bought Running Wild : Gates to Purgatory and then Destruction : Infernal Overkill, so of course Destruction is some of the pioneers in Trash Metal..
