i have always believed in God and i know he died for our sins. but that was it

.but for some reason this year i have this craving to know God and i cant get enough of Him. I dont know what is happening to me...problem is my husband is a firm believer in evolution and there is nothing that will tell him differently. too much scientific evidence and that is that...thank goodness he is allowing me to take our 4 yr old son to church with me...he loves it and i will raise him with God in his life.

@blopajmbar62 All songs don't have the word Jesus or God but the important part is to glorify God! That's it! Somtimes a song may not contain the word God or Jesus but it may still glorify God! When the lyrics say It's the voice that whispers my name and I want to start it over, what do you think it means? I didn't get the TobyMac songs at first either but some songs have deep meaning to it. You can't just say the words you have to think about it. Now i'm one of his biggest fan!

umm... I know they're a Christian band n so you know, I laugh at all you Christians (n other religions) for your beliefs. I've been there and laugh at what I used to think... Ironically, I love Ch-bands (Skillet, Jeremy Camp, Relient K etc).One is not a slave of the band/singer's meaning behind his song. I interpret them as I please. Some of these bands' songs can't be interpreted other than the God way... but that's ok; I love how they sound!

It means several things....to say a song has a singular message is not fitting of a good song....But here is what I draw from the song in the order I hear it.....

"I want to start it over. I wanna start again. I want a new beginning, one without an end." This sounds a lot like a hunger for the afterlife promised by God.

"I feel it inside, calling out to me." this can be interpreted as the holy spirit calling to us, (holy spirit also referenced as self-control and conscience)
