In my opinion we as humans have always found ways to down grade EVERYTHING. I loved this video its has that oldschool kungfu movie feel. They could have had dialogue in English and dubbed over with a more manly English to give it that flare. But all in all 10 for 10. while everyone sees the flaws i see the hard work and choreography needed in this vid that says....Epic!!!

Nice. I didn't particularly like the soundtrack choice but that's just a style kinda thing no big deal. What I loved was the speed of lightsaber battle. Camera angles could have been better but I really loved how fast the action was. It actually looked like they were swinging for real instead of the slow 'obvious' movements a lot of these kinds of videos have. Nice work.

This is one of those subtle, unassuming fan films that blows the larger scale fan films out of the water. Look at something like Spirits of the Force, which had exceptionally high production values and yet it sucked because it was stupidly made. Your film was made with an artistic eye, and because of that simple fact, it wins over most others. This film is better in it's innocence.

I vote you guys make a motion picture. You have the talent for it.

Duel had a few good moves but overall this duel had some lame saber strikes like they were trying to amputate each other's feet way too much. not a big fan of the overuse of strikes around the legs/feet

@kenobi749 Personally, this duel is alot better than quite a few of the ones found in the prequel duels. In this one, it actually looks like they're trying to kill eachother where as in Ep2 and 3 its more like they're trying to imitate a fluent dance and show off.

I have to say, pretty damn good. Not the best audio. The lack of fancy twirling was nice, though, I mean it works sometimes, but often times a more visceral "I'm just want to kill you" approach works better, and this has that. So that was pretty sweet. The ending was pretty anti-climactic, though. Other than that, pretty well done.

You'd expect the Dark Jedi to be the more aggressive of the two, just for their training styles. It seemed the Jedi was more passionate, which the counsel highly discourages if not prohibits. Interesting commentary on the hypocrisy of religious counters.

As many others have pointed out, the brevity and lack of fancy twirling really make this one stand out from MANY other fights I've seen. The moves are fast, and the Sergio Leone/martial arts stylings are just gravy!

Awesome job fellas. I just wish it were a longer fight. I love the lightsaber duels. I'm sure U guys have heard of the Ryan vs. Dorkman fights. Those were extremely well done. The 1 thing in my opinion that I would say that U both did better than Ryan & Dorkman, is that when U were both fighting each other, the swings were deliberate. Meaning it looked like U both were really trying 2 kill each other. Ryan & Dorkman's moves though very well done, U could C them slow down a bit B4 cretain hits...

Alright, first off, i Loved the sound effects of the Lightsabers connecting. It seems more realistic then alot of the crappy videos on here. That being said, your sword styles are very good, cheography was excellent.

There are only 2 things that I can really see that could be improved. 1. the video coulda been longer. this is just a personal thing though. but secondly, there are points where you seem to wait for the other person, but they are few and far between...overall...8/10

@sapherno11 Actually, no lightsaber fight will ever rival that of Obi-Wan vs Anakin and Obi-Wan And Qui-Gon vs Darth Maul.

Everybody underestimates Maul. The novels show his true badassary. Really, his only downfall is his overconfidence. If he wasn't so overconfident he would be a higher ranked sith. I think if he would have got over it I would place him above Dooku since his potential would be more vast.

and No Maul wouldn't be a "higher ranking sith". He was a Dark Lord, hence the title of Darth. In addition, because of the rule of 2, the only higher rank he could have recieved was if he killed Sidious and took his place.

Dooku is also high up there in most powerful characters, however, most people dont consider Maul to be a highly ranked character in terms of power. I didn't mean in terms of having a higher ranking of Sith, but instead out of all the Sith. be better ranked in terms of power. That's what I meant.
