how depressing to see all the hard work that went into building these beauties and work that will go into fixing them and the near death accidents. but there is a bond between a driver and his car that no crash can take away. amazing footage all in all.
Anymore footage of the Cerbera Speed 12? There's not enough of what was an awesome effort by TVR; it took them around 1 year to go from the Speed 12 GT1 to the Cerbera Speed 12 GT2. And it used to win aswell!
All this footage is between 1998 and 2002. Would love to see some more footage like this but with original sound/commentary instead of a musical track. Sadly British GT is now an extremely pale (and quiet!) imitation of the seasons featured in this video :(
Excellent video, nice to see someone has finally got some footage of the Cerbera Speed 12 in action! Have you got anymore footage of it racing? Nobody seems to have anything!
It was a guy called Shane Bland driving a Marcos Mantis - for some reason he just doesn't seem to slow down so he must have been doing around 100 as it is the end of the pit straight at Donington. Thankfully he was ok....
This was at Oulton Park...about 7 years ago... I was there up against the fence right where the action was. I had my two young sons with me and at one point I grabbed them and pulled them away from the fence because I though that debris was going to rain down on us. It didnt of course as it loses velocity rapidly! A day we will never forget.
why is the grass and sand so slippery????

Sorry I don't have any more footage - it was a cool car and it had some pretty good drivers too!
